Liskeard have not 1 weakness in there team not 1 Blazey player would get in there team they are mostly getting on in age anyway Max Gilbert gave a master class in his range of passing on Wednesday night vs Newquay this Liskeard team have had the same players for a few years now thats why they are so good they play as a team no Prima Donas in there team 

Watched a very good game at Mt Wise between Newquay and Liskeard shouldnt of gone up really afer being down Hospital all afternoon and being in bloody agony .
What  a brilliant team Liskeard the football they play is great to watch so many talented players there , Liskeard went 1-0 up from prolific scorer James Lorenz ,Liskeard continued to dominate and Harry in the Newquay goal was pulling off save after save and brilliant defending at times it was like the film ZULU and Newquay hanging on in there .1-0 HT 
2ND Half NEWQUAY came more into the game and Luke Gwillian had to pull off a couple of really good saves ,Liskeard nearly scored straight from a corner but the alert Harry Ashton tipped the ball over the bar . Newquay where attacking more and i thought they would get a equaliser but just as it looked like that a passback played to short was inercerpted by the brilliant Dan Jennings just took at around Harry an drolled the ball in 2-0 .
Liskeard where still playing the long cross field ball to James Lorenz and him and James Rowe where putting in cross after cross and Harrys handling was superb . 
With time running out Newquay where awarded a pen an di think it was Alex Cole who took it and scored FT SCORE 2-1 to Liskeard 
Mom for NEWQUAY HARRY ASHTON AND FOR LISKEARD COULD OF BEEN ANYONE BUT IM GOING FOR JAMES ROWE 
The Ref and his assistants where excellent and controlled the game really well . 
I would like to say it was really nice of Martin Hodge and Jon Colenzo to come over and have a chat and see Smokie , it was really nice of them after i had a shite time down the Hospital and was in agony the whole match and was glad to get home . 
Well played Newquay sorry i said you would loose 6-0 but i was told Goalie Harry Ashton had joined Mousehole and Noah Teagle had also left but both played tonight and all played well . Liskeard will surely win the league on performances like this there football is a joy to watch and i will be at Sticker Saturday week to watch them play again

What the hell happened to the G today losing 13-0 to Liskeard something must of gone wrong for them to let that many goals in i reckon the G MUST OF STRUGGLED to get a team i know Liskeard are good but surely not that good .
That has got to be the highest score in Peninsula history , Tania must of been in goal or something i honestly can see the G folding before long it will break my heart if it does happen because they are such good people there but that is a embarassing scoreline .
Be interesting to see what reports there is about the match i cant see Adam Rowbathan letting in 13 goals must of been someone else in goal .
Lets hope the G have sorted out this mess before they play Sticker next Saturday .

Got talking to  Mousehole supporter while was where both wired up at Treliske Hospital like we where on death row got to joke about it or you would cry we had a good talk about footy and i said what a mess the Newquay team is now and he said wont be long they got 2 quality players wanting to return in Mc Conie and Price they are fed up with sitting on the bench and now Mousehole  have signed Budes brilliant player Josh Baxter hope Louis and Callum  are back in the colours of the Peppermints before long .
Nice to have someone to talk to about football matters in Cornwall had 1 bloke once whose well up in Cornish football would use to say to the nurses do you know who i am and the nurses would say no sir who are you was so funny and to see his face was a picture 

What a brilliant game St Columb vs Liskeard RES was decided to chance the weather and so glad i did sun came out just at KO .and it wasnt long before this talented LISKEARD Res team began to dominate and went 2-0 up in no time at all Liskeard had a dubious pen i thought was wrong but it was even out later in the game when St Columb had 1 which i also thought was not a pen but a good tackle .
The 2nd half St Columb came out a different team they where quite poor in the 1st half but the 2nd half they where brilliant and Liskeard just couldnt cope with them Lee Budge was causing havoc on the wing putting over brilliant crosses , but Lee then got a brilliant goal he will never score 1 any better pity i never got a photo of it but i never thought he was going to take a shot from where he was what a beauty the goalie had no chance , Liskeards heads seemed to drop then and it was a matter how many St Columb would score i thought the final score was 4-2 but i have been told it was 5-2 it must of been when i was looking for Smokie he decided to go on his walkabout .
The ref Graham Rickard who i class as a friend of mine had a real mare of  a match ditching out yellow cards like they had gone out of fashion and sending off St Columb Captain Jamie Seery off when from where i was it looked a good tackle but he did loose his head afterwards and it kicked off and cards where flying ,where some bad decisions like St Columb having a goal dissalowed for offside when they claimed there was a Liskeard player on the goal line sorry St Columb there wasnt .Both pens shouldnt of been given the pitch was very slippery and some tackles where late but Graham should of played to the pitch conditions .
This was a brilliant team performance Craig Allen what  a player he is and the whole team where just superb but my MOM is going to Lee Budge and sorry Liskeard you just didnt turn up the 2nd half i thought even Finn Bartlett was poor who looked so good in the 1st half 
Really glad i went and the rain stayed off be nice to St Columb in the final what a player and Captain Jamie Seery is but to get that team playing the way did in the 2nd half praise has got to go to the St Columb Manager even Liskeard Res manager i think football Legend Darren Gilbert
must of been impressed by St Columbs 2nd half performance Sensational 

Looks like i will not be going to the footy in this weather awful here hoping it will clear maybe for the 2nd half at the moment im staying put cant take Smokie out in this 
 

So St Dennis vs Liskeard is off so should be a good crowd at St Columb today with the 1st team watching and there lovely manager Martin Hodge ,Hoping Liskeard Res dont play there 1st team players today but do play talented youngsters Gwillian Raglan and player i wont to see hopefully Finn Bartlett Camera already big coat reasy but boots still wet from last Saturdays match should be a cracker . Come and support 2 fine teams 
I think it will go to Extra Time and Liskeard will go through to the next round 
Wont be long until i get in my old car and set off and hoping poor Smokie doesnt get wet like last week

Just back from Hospital feeling like crap so no watching footy at Newquay tonight , put on football news on here and see G manager Harry Pope gone no surprise there really think he lost the backing of the players wish him luck wherever he ends up . 
So the search for the new manager starts all over again and here are my candidates 1 Josh Stockdale 2 . Sean Middleton 3 Phil Lowry and rank outsider Ben Colqhoun ,just hope they get someone who will get the team playing the way they can because when they are good they are very good and when they are bad they are bloody awful .
Ok looking forward to see who turns up at Godolphin way when there next home game is theres only 1 man that can really bring the good times back at the G and that is Derek Martyn but its no good looking in the past i would personally like to see Josh Stockdale be the new manager im sure he would get respect from the players and they would play foe him .

What a game that was Newquay 3 - Wadebridge 3 what a brilliant advert for local football a draw was a fair result in my opinion but i thought Wadebridge where going to nick it in the end when they threw everything at the Newquay goal but they couldnt beat the brilliant goalie Harry Ashton who stopped everything .
Wadebridge went 1-0 from a scramble in the Newquay goalmouth and JACOB SMALE got the first of his goals Newquay got there equalised with a free kick near the touchline CAM TURNER spotting ROB ROSEVEAR off his line blasted it over him into the goal and not long after ALEX COLE put Newquay 2 -1 up with a fine finish to put the score at 2-1 at Ht but in the 1st half there was a lot of nasty fouls and i think the ref should of come down harder on the players and 1 foul from Cam TURNER on JACK RAPSEY should of been a red and this put JACK out of the game .
In the 2nd half Wadebridge came out on fire and really went for it and Jacob Smale got his 2nd goal a clear pen which he took very well to beat Harry in the goal . But you thought Wadebridge would of done there homework on CAM TURNER and he had his 2nd goal from another free kick you could see exactly where he was going to put it but Wadebridge didnt and it was 3-2 then .
CHRIS RESKI on for a sub for Wadebridge should of scored when he only had HARRY ASHTON to beat but Harry made a brilliant save with WADEBRIDGE throwing everything at NEWQUAY you wandered which way this game would go and Wadebridge got a deserved equaliser when a wayward header to a unmarked Reski in the box was taken down and Jacob Smale got a pen and his hatrick and Wadebridge got a well deserved draw .
It was worth being in agony with these KIDNEY STONES to watch such a great match but it was agony walking home down the hill .It was great talking to Mark Rappo and others up there . 
MOM for Newquay got to be CAM TURNER but sorry JACOB i know you got a hatrick but im given the WADEBRIDGE MOM TO TOM SHEPHERD i thought he was brilliant .
 Ref did handle a difficult game well but he should of sent Cam  Turner off for a dreadful foul on JACK RAPSEY . but the ref did let the game flow and thats what supporters like to see 
Now im back in my flat in bloody agony time to take some Paracetomals and down the hospital tmmrw for another dose to get rid of these stones the specialist said they are too big to be treated with pills like last time anyway got to keep smiling lots of people a lot worst off im just glad i got my dog and local footy to watch .
Off to St Columb on Saturday to see them play the talented Liskeard Reserve side not sure of the time yet 2 15pm i think weather going to be nice hopefully i will be able to collect my camera after its been repaired 
 
£85 bloody camera only cost £40 but i was lost without it tonight

They are the best side i have seen this year some brilliant youngsters especially the no10 i better not name or i will be in trouble and Darren Gilberts son is really good as well the Liskeard 1st team play the best football in the league and there reserves are just as good but St Columb Major have some really good players i watched them vs Mousehole Academy but they where outclassed in that match but vs Newquay Academy they where very good

Great news the Blazey suporter managed to come around was  a distressing site to see just glad hes ok ,and the ref did the right thing by declaring the game over right decision to put us poor G supporters out of our misery because they where so poor they got some really good players there but there is no one in that team can score goals maybe Ben should play from the start where is Richie Rundle he would of had a go today because none of the players out there did they could be there all week and they still wouldnt score At least the G Wont go down this season but a month ago they where looking really good and how the hell did they beat Bude away .
Ok enough moaning just wishing all my best wishes to the St Blazey supporter and hope to see him again soon cheering on the Green and Blacks

Before i start i would like to say i hope the St Blazey spectator who had a episode this afternoon could of been a heart attack or stroke but thats just guess work just hope they will be ok ,also i would like to apologise to the St Blazey goal keeper coach we was having a good chat he knew me but i didnt know who he was i didnt even know the G player Matt Saunders who i had a good chat with and i have been watching him play for a long time .I blame it on my age and got a lot going on at the moment .
Ok on to the match Godolphin where poor today and never tested Blazey goalie Steve Cross who was deputising for 1st choice goalie Jordan Cole and also there was no River Allen in there team but they didnt need them it was all Blazey from the 1st whistle it didnt take long for Blazey to go 1 nil up when Lewis Russel dropped a ball onto Luke Coles foot and he beat G goalie Adam Rowbatham with ease Blazey continued to dominate and the Ggoalie made a brilliant save from Sam Buckley but it went to Lewis Vooght who put the ball away with ease .HT 2-0 
Blazey continues to dominate and Luke Cloke scored a 3rd he also had a goal dissalowed which the linesman flagged for offside but he was clearly on side .
Blazey brought on sub of there subs and what a list of subs they had who would get in any side the likes of JACK ALEXANDER ,GINO GARSIDE ,RIO WARD ,KAI FOSTER ,AND CALLUM MCGEE Not a bad list of quality players to bring 0n .
With about 15mins to go the game was stopped i didnt have a clue what was going on but i think a spectator could of had a heart attackbut i couldnt understand why it was taking so long for the ambulance to arrive just hope the poor person is ok but i do fear the worst hope im wrong 
The match was stopped and both teams agreed the 3-0 win to Blazey would stand think the G where lucky really it could of been a real hammering just poor finishing from Blazey and desperate defending from the G .
The G need to get some new players in soon a goalscorer is top of there list i would think 
Onto my MOM for the G ADAM ROWBATHAN AND FOR BLAZEY THATS EASY MARTIN GILES WHAT A PLAYER HE IS .Been watching him for years and he always gives 100% hes the sort of player you would want with you he was just awesome today but hes been like that for years What a friggin player also liked Paul Wottons son Alfie if hes as good as his old man was hes going to have a hell of a career

Ok i just hope the person who collapsed who came to watch a football match makes a full recovery and gets to see St Blazey win he league and also a cup with the squad they have got they should do 
I wish Blazey all the luck for the season good to see Paul and other lovely people supporting Blazey just tell me who i was talking to he said hes the Blazey goalkeeper coach whats worst is i reckonised his face but he wouldnt tell me his name it will be bugging me all night now .
And finally Godolphin what the hell is going on your not playing like the brilliant G I  saw a month or so ago you got your work cut out there Harry where is Josh you cant do it all on your own you need a assitant and a striker say someone like Jaffa Rowe from St Dennis
