The St Blazey management 

Great report as always Mark , game started in lovely sunshine and ended in fog and thick drizzle but that doesnt effect how good a player River Allen if theres  a better player in this league i have yet to see him i was looking forward to the midfield battle of River vs Cam Turner but there was only 1 winner Cam had a quiet game by his standards but Blazey are some team .
I thought Newquay where the better side in the 1st half but the 2nd half it was all Blazey and they went 1-0 up with a blockbuster free kick by River Allen even Blazey fans near me said it shouldnt of been a free kick but the ref gave it and River took and scored .
It was a surprise to see no Sean Semmens in the Blazey goal but Brodie Cole isnt a bad replacement ,i think if Alex Cole had played for Newquay he would of caused more problems to the Blazey defence ; 
The players on the Blazey bench like Lewis Russel ,Rio Ward Sam, Clifton and there captain Ollie Brokenshire who was last seen chasing his horse around Cheltenham Races no he was there on the bench thought they missed him  a bit today in the centre of the park but he will be still lifting the champions cup in come May .
Luke Cloke got the 2nd goal after a knock down from Ex  Truro player Andy Watkins looks like Luke wil be getting the golden boot this year .
MOM by a mile for me River Allen Class Player and for Newquay im given it to Matt Saunders for keeping Cloke quiet for the majority of the game .
I would like to mention Phil Lafferty it means something when a top manager like him comes over for a chat and asks how i am ,i told him him i have got a Bladder problem And i got to got to a place called Peninsula Hub a Trevisson RD to have this dye put into me it seems i am never free of hospitals but the dr that phoned me said this wasnt a Hospital with my luck it will be a undertakers lol .
Ok People have a good week 2 weeks tmmrw i will be up at Wembley to see the mighty Pilgrims vs Bolton wish Cooper was in goal for Plymouth instead of Burton . OK next weekend back watching Newquay vs St Austell next week 
 

The brilliant St Blazey manager Phil Lafferty and a good bloke , come May i can see him lifting the Champions cup and i will be there clicking away hopefully taking loads of photos of the Blazey team on the day they play the brilliant Wendron who no ones ever mentioned well they are a awesome team ran the right way and play lovely football but its got to be Blazey for the league they wasnt really as good as they usually are but still got 3 points .

Back up and running after what happened Saturday was waching the film Banshees of Inisherin with a friend i went to make a cup of Coffee when she shouted out the laptop was on fire and it was flames bit of a scare good job it didnt catch fire when i was out watching the footy anyway here i am back again with another Laptop .
Last nights match i thought Saltash would of walked all over Helston but Saltash never really turned up and Helston dominated the match i thought Steve Colwell and Matty Bye where superb and dominated the midfield ,the 2 ex Millbrook strikers Rikki Shepherd and Tom Payne have a brilliant understanding and caused the Saltash defence endless problems all evening .
Steve Colwell opened the scoring with a brilliant then it was the 2 ex Millbrook players Shepherd and Payne and Rubin Wilson came
on briefly and scored the 4th and also got sent off .
The pitch wasnt good and Helston goalie Searle went down when catching his foot in a rut but he was ok to continue and saving Saltashes weak penalty.
Saltash brought on my fav player Adam Carter in place of Mike Smith but it made no difference the brilliant Helston defence of Storey , Bentley and Harrison defended like there lives depended on it they where so good the whole Helston team was .
I thought the ref did ok the pen was a clear pen but a weak effort by Martindale with Searle saving easily 
Not the biggest of crowds there last night will be a lot bigger this Saturday when Blazey visit Newquay .

I noticed last night the speed of the football was a lot faster than the Peninsula league and the tackles are more robust taking no prisoners .

2nd half started off as the 1st pretty poor but Harvey Hann put St Austell 1-0 up then Kieron Bishop got no2 for St Austell ,Jared Sims brought Newquay back into the game and then you thought Newquay would put more pressure on the St Austell defence but Sub Zack O,Connor scored a 3rd for St Austell even though goalie Piran Jones a couple of brilliant saves for St Austell .
Neil Slateford was having a brilliant game but it did make me laugh when the ref pulled him up for a foul on Jack Rapsey who is twice the size of Neil . St Austell deserved there win but since the merger fell through Newquay have just lost interest and the season cant come soon enough for them this was a fine Newquay side a couple of months ago playing brilliant football and where looking good for that 4th spot but now it doesnt matter with no promotion they just dont seem to care anymore .
Good to see Mark and Rach there watching the match i noticed Smokie was trying to make the great Escape again but his tunneling Skills are not up to scratch so i had to go and drag him back after he went and introduced himself to the spectators .
Had a nice chat with Martin Duffs dad good to see his son come on as a sub for St Austell .

I think your right now Newquay and other teams like Wendron have nothing to play for but Newquay where lucky to win the Camelford game im not going to say what i think has gone wrong at Newquay they signed the young lad Jasper Turner and i think he doesnt fit into this Newquay team while Noah Teagle just fits perfectly ,but what am i o say Craig and his team knows what they are doing this is just a hiccup and they can get revenge next week vs St Austell like on the Podcast today Steve Cudmore wa on and he said there could be 6 or 7 Wadebridge players leaving this summer now they cant go up 
It breaks my heart all these teams that forked out lots of money to get promotion will not be going up serve the buggers right i wonder how many will stick around now like the player Rogers at Bude the load of strikers at Bridger only teami feel sorry for is Wendron they do everything the right way lovely.
Hi Mark Smokie would x some treats if hes still around lol .I have always wanted to go to Aushwitz but have actually been to scared to its got to be the scariest place on earth i wouldnt like to be stuck in there at night if eer there was a place that is haunted its that place with all the people that was murdered there my sons wife Romi lost 14 members of her family there .I have lots of books about the place i am a bit of a Geek on the subject .Hope you dont have any knightmares of that place i would for sure .

What gets me on this Forum are armchair critics who dont even go to the matches but copy other peoples reports and make out they was at the matches when they where not .
Last comment from me St Blazey where no angels yesterday Martin Giles should of got a red for a bad foul he did but did not Tornado Bello got whacked in the face ,both teams dished out some rough stuff yesterday but Bude are getting a reputation for being a dirty team and on the 4 times i have watched them they deserve it .
I expect the replay will be midweek match which will be  a pity because i wouldnt be there for that 1 Think Blazey will win the replay but they need to start with River Allen on the Bench . 

The ref Mr Kaymaz i usually a very good ref but he just seemed to find the players very intimidating yesterday The players and management should know better and not crowd around the ref .
The ref could of sent even more players off Tornado Bello was given a rough time and Martin Giles was lucky to of stayed on the pitch I thought i had come to watch a footy match but ended watching a WWE Wrestling match .

Who would want to be a ref in situations like this something needs to be done big fines for players and management if they surround the ref in a frightening manner .
If there is a replay there needs to be a different ref and t should be Mr Neil Hunnisett best ref by a mile 

The ref Mr Kaymaz i usually a very good ref but he just seemed to find the players very intimidating yesterday The players and management should know better and not crowd around the ref .
The ref could of sent even more players off Tornado Bello was given a rough time and Martin Giles was lucky to of stayed on the pitch I thought i had come to watch a footy match but ended watching a WWE Wrestling match .
The football itself wasnt too good Bude started off really good and if it wasnt for saves Sean Semmens in the Blazey goal made Bude would of gone in front it all kicked off when Budes Baga Mariko was sent off and Billy Hopcroft was sin binned and the football went out of the window then and it was who could kick who the hardest .
Who would want to be a ref in situations like this something needs to be done big fines for players and management if they surround the ref in a frightening manner .

I have been watching football a long time but have never seen anything like the St Blazey vs Bude match it was like a Battlefield Both sides putting in late challenges and the ref just couldnt control the game he sent Bude Player off for 2 yellow card sin binned Billy Hopcroft and just was card happy .
He really lost it 2nd half sending off both Bude managers and then 1 refusing to go and all the players surrounding the ref in the end it looked like the ref thought sod this im calling the game off so us poor supporters where there standing there thinking what the F is going on here it looks like a replay will be onto the verdict 
Onto the footy well there wasnt much to say both sides where kicking lumps out of each other Bude where the better side in the 1st 20 mins and Sean Semmens kept Blazey in the game with some excellent saves ,Blazey went in front through a scappy goal by Jed Smale .
It surprised me when the best player in the league River Allen was only on the bench 
My mom for Blazey goes to there captain Ollie Brockenshire who battled all afternoon and for Bude Scott Piper .
I was loking forward seeing Budes expensive signing Gabby Rogers but i thought he was poor and if i was Bude i would ask for my money back like all us fans should do

Still hate driving to St Austell and Blazey because i go past my partner Amandas house and it upsets me RIP Love miss you so much

NEWQUAY 2-1 CAMELFORD
This was a hard works 3 points for Newquay this afternoon ,Camelford started off looking like they had come to give Newquay goal in the first 10 mins Camelford had shot after shot at the Newquay goal but poor finishing and good defending and goalkeeping Newquay weatherd the storm and clicked into gear playing there fine passing game on a bumpy pitch .
Alex Cole was causing so much problem down the wing and put Newquay 1-0 up Brad Leivers put Newquay 2-0 up with a Bullet header i didnt think Camelford deserve to be 2-0 down at the break they player some lovely football and Charlie Hambly what a class player he is 
Alex Wharton got for Camelford and some of attacking had gone but Gusterson and Andy Boxhall tried as hard as they could ,Boxhall brought Camelford back into the game with a brilliant volley which gave Harry no chance at all i thought Camelford where going to get a equaliser which i thought they deserved but i expect someone will say different like they usually do but i thought they where very unlucky Reg has got a very good team there but Newquay ground out there 3rd game in a row which cant be bad .
Newquay had young Jasper Turner playing on his debut today he did ok but i rate Noah Teagle very highly ,but the young lad did alright .
Well done Newquay and Craig and his team but Regs Team did deserve something out of todays game .
My mom for Newquay Cam Turner a real captains performance great tackles great passing great player my mom for Camelford the no3 caused lots of problems for the Peppermints 
I thought the ref Mr Roper was excellent as was his assistants 
 
No game for Newquay next weekend so im taking a trip to St Blazey to see them play Bude and all the lovely people at Blazey always get a warm welcome there and the chips are lovely .

Just listening to the Deacs and Rappo Podcast about the merger and what a good bloke Phil Hiscox is he seems very genuine and honest and tells it how it is ,I wander what is going to happen to the new structure and see who does go up Blazey for sure but what is going to happen to the other teams is it still 4 teams go up .
Love listening to Podcast and Rappo and Deacs where talking about Truro City Reserves and they where saying how well Jamie Lowry is playing there i think you will find its his Brother Phil Lowry who is playing there and banging in the goals .
Think i will be watching Newquay vs Cameflford tmmrw or should that be vs Wadebridge because i think  Cmelford have 7 or 8 ex Wadebridge players playing for them .I was going to go Blazey tmmrw but have decided to give that a miss because with the price of petrol it works out dear because i am going there next week to see them play Bude because Newquay have no game .

Newquay ground out a hard fought 2-0 win vs Mullion this afternoon not the prettiest of games to watch but another 3 points for the Peppermints and with teams around them dropping points a good win .
1st half very scrappy but Newquay striker Jack Rapsey with his back to goal hit the ball over his head into a unguarded Mullion goal brilliant goal from the young striker .
2nd half still pretty scrappy but Mullion goalie Williams was making some outstanding saves while Newquay goalie had a quiet afternoon Mullion played some nice football with Harry Roberts making some great runs but they where lacking a striker but you got to give them credit for the nice football they play and it is only there 1st season in this league .
Goal number 2 when Matt Sanders on as a sub put Newquay 2-0 which they deserved but they made hard work of it Newquay defence was brilliant again . 
The ref had a brilliant game and let the  game flow onto my MOM someone who does not get enough credit but i thought he was brilliant so i am given it to Jared Sims and for Mullion the goalie Paul Williams for keeping the score to only 2 
Look forward to Marks more in depth report later was good to see him and his family and Smokie enjoyed the fuss made of him just wish he would wear his coat he just stands there and shivers Smokie that is not Mark .
Well Done Newquay onto next weeks match vs Camelford should be another tough game Reg is building a good team after losing so many good players like Ryan Downing to Wadebridge 

So we are back to 3pm ko seems stupid decision ,its a dull day here in Newquay it will get dark early and they will have to have the floodlights on burning up the electric could of saved some money if they had the 2.15 ko .Anyway i will be up Mt Wise at 3pm to watch the Peppermints play Mullion should be a good game both teams need a win to get that 4th position im going for a 3-1 win to Newquay
