  1. I know some might say this is the wrong forum............... just interested in what the views are ? 100% Cornish will not be happy .
  2. Perhaps Parkway can be judged at the end of the season ? Lets see how it goes.
  3. I get from a match fitness point of view this is good , but would not have risked it seeing the situation we are in with current injuries.
  4. Well I hope Carter is fit for Saturday . He has been out for several weeks with a broken hand.
  5. After a comfortable first half , injury hit Parkway were awful. Sorry ,not much more I can say. Very dissappointed with that display lads.
  6. Parkway 3 - Clevedon 4 , Not happy about letting in 4 goals , but thoroughly enjoyed the end to end game . At 1 - 4 down , I was still enjoying the football , if not the score . Clevedon took us apart with pace and clinical finishing. A sprited comeback was good to watch and we had chances to level the match. Cleveden are probably the most entertaining team I have seen this season. The average age of the players was 18/19 ! This team were Southern league just a few seasons ago. I was asked the question last night , would I rather see a 4 or 5 nil one sided game or watch games like last night ........... To be honest I do like to watch a tanking ( not for Parkway ) but I did really enjoy the battle too . So to answer it , I'm not sure lol. Onto the next game. Cmon Parkway.
  7. Clevedon top 6. Very good young and pacey team.
  8. Yes . That will be a good one . Willand are a good side. One of the best I have seen this season. 2 fast wingers and a fast striker . Winnable thought for Tavi on their day. I bet Saltash are rubbing their hands ?
  9. Once again , the pieEater is not a Parkway fan. Please do not rise to his pump ?
  10. I have heard that the comments on twitter came from someone other than Mr Hobbs as he does not have a twitter account. Anyway , he may have felt that he would have got to much abuse if he did go for food and a beer , he did get some stick during the game. Just a thought ..... Well done to Gez and Mark and the boys who did go back , top effort that. We got a severe second half tanking and need to man up and take it on the chin. Could do with Eddie in our line up please. Just an early Christmas wish.
  11. Well hats off to St Austell today , very even first half but what an uneven second half. Easy to say Parkway were poor but the Cornish team ripped us apart big time. So pacey down the flanks and clinical finishing . Was not expecting that score. Ive been following Parkway for 7 or 8 seasons now and that must be their biggest defeat. Another big injury for us today with Farks going off early in the first half , running out of subs lol. No complaints from me , we got what we deserved , bloody nothing. Thought the St Austell chants and banter was amusing at times and the bar will be drunk dry too tonight. Not sure where we go from here. I suppose it can only get better , I hope. Lads..... you let your large band of away support down today. It was good to see 100% Cornish and his little scamp Smokie. To sum up .......... PANTS WELL AND TRULY PULLED DOWN. On to the next game, cmon Parkway.
  12. Will be a tight game I think. Always a tough encounter there . I will go for a 1 - 2 Parkway win .
  13. Parkway 0 Westbury 1. Parkway missed several chances in this very even encounter. Probably a draw may have been a fair result , but its not about being fair lol .. its about scoring goals . Westfield should be defo top 3 this season.
  14. Is this not the same problem for the England team ? Youngsters not getting a good run in their Saturday teams .
  15. On another note ..... what about Elburton beating Bideford. Now that is a huge cup upset.
  16. Ah the good old days at Lux Park ...................... Fancy Nancy , Scooping Pook and all. Great pasties too.
  17. Well as an impartial viewer , I thought Bodmin were unlucky not to score at least 3 goals. Chapman made 3 excellent saves. Reski and Eddi were great to watch too. As above, thought Hobbs was off the pace big time. Not sure about Colwell at this level though . He seems very content to stay in the middle 5th of the pitch doing small passes ? Surely he should be at a higher level ? I think ST A were the better side overall and I enjoyed the battle. A very scrappy game which had several heated challenges flying in. A good crowd and as usual great pasties.
