  1. Oh nooooooooooooooo . Thanks for that Older ( not ) . right in my head again. Reaching out ...................... ahhhhh
  2. Love the Parkway party bus. Still got the tune "Sweet Caroline" in my bloody head lol.
  3. Well that was a long day. Gloucester 3 Parkway 1 ( Carter pen ) . An early goal for the home team 17 seconds made me think , oh no this could be a hammering . But that was not to be . We replied with a perfectly taken penalty 2 minutes after . We kept up with the Step 2 side for most of the first half which saw the scores level . Gloucester were giving a debut to a French U21 International up front. Got to admit he was lively. We had a few half chances but the home defence were solid nearly all game. We then got caught with a bit of sloppy defending to concede the second and caught on the break for the third. At 2 - 1 down Carter and Yetton combined which saw a great full stretch one handed save from the home keeper . Who knows what would have happened at 2-2 ? My man of the Match was Mikey Williams. A fair result in the end , the stronger team ( expected too ) won the spoils. I feel Parkway did themselves and their supporters proud and the Home team Manger said this did not feel like a cup tie , but a league game . That's a compliment in its self. I experienced the Parkway party bus on the way home too . What a bunch of nuggets lmao. Non stop singing and dancing and bantering all the way home. Thanks for that lads as I still have "Sweet Caroline" going round in my head this morning . Well, dust ourselves down and go again Saturday. Cmon Parkway. Oh and they did not have any pasties grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
  4. Will take this game in tomorrow as Parkway are playing Sunday. Complete neutral for a change
  5. Don't get me started on pasties Older ha ha.
  6. Well ive booked my ticket for this Sunday lol.
  7. I remember our treble winning season roughly adding up how much I spent following Parkway. It was approx £650. That was including entrance fee , the odd beverage , food and petrol. No complaints here.
  8. My good old mate WayofthePark would say : "Where were you when we were shit" ....... lol
  9. This guy is not a Parkway fan. Please do not rise to his winding up.
  10. Elburton turning PAFC over , what a great result. Well done. What was the crowd count please .
  11. Street 1 Parkway 4 . ( Carter 2 , Smith 1 , Trott ) . I did not go , but what a result. Great effort lads .
  12. I am sure the pie eater is a wind up. He seems very disrespectful and his views are his own not Plymouth Parkways . We have played 5 league games so far and 2 of the teams are just as good , if not a little better than us . So definite promotion is not set in stone . There are several teams in the Peninsula premier div that would do more than fine from what I have seen so far. Please do not fuel this guys fire. ( Would also like to know if this guy would tell Mr Hobbs to his face what he thinks of him ) ?
  13. That was the intention ha ha. Ivory , strange you should say that. I have mate that is a professional at that and he also does this with cider ( normally aimed at my nostrils ewwww ).
  14. Ha ha . I see your point . I like to assess the pasties normally as I am partial to one now and again. But was amazed last night as the portacabin was geared out like a roadside café lol. For me footy days / nights are about watching football , catching up with good mates and to take on board the occasional beer / food item. By the time I got home from work yesterday and got ready for the journey to Bridgewater , I did not have time to have my tea . So I was bloody hank marvin by the time I got there. Hope this explains lol.
  15. Got to mention the food on display tonight. Pasties , pies , burgers , jumbo sausage , normal sausage ,sausage rolls , curry sauce and ............... faggots and chips with gravy. Best array of food ever. On to the footy , agree with Gingernija above on most points . Bridgewater were slightly the better team in a scrappy first half. We played with 5 across the middle and kept playing long ball ..... not sure what that was about . When we play the ball on the ground we look good , play the long ball game and we do not. When we went down to 10 men we seem to completely change our effort and outlook on the game and we took the game to Bridgewater. Definite game changer when Yetton came on. His work rate was excellent. He was a right handful for the 2 centre backs . Put the penalty away with confidence too. A right handbags went on at the end of the game and the home crowd were very verbally volatile as our players left the pitch. Good crowd of 298 and must have been 50 or 60 of the Parkway faithful there too. All in all not a great performance for 60 minutes , but we did defend well to keep them out. My man of the match was Yetton. A great 3 points ( mugging ) , so well done lads. Cmon Parkway.
  16. My man of the match was the game changer Smith , closely followed by the hard working Yetton.
