Its a case of give it a go and see what happens. Just good to see teams with ambition to get out of this league. ( And it does take money to do so ) . That is not a dig at teams that do not take promotion either. The travelling side of things will be a pain.

Bang on Mr Manning. Many players think they are above the rules , they need to be taught a harsh lesson and then perhaps they will concentrate on becoming a better footballer. Its about your feet not your mouth !

Swear aggressively at a player or official should warrant a red card .Perhaps lengthen the ban too . No need for it.

Yes I for one agree scousemouse. There were many good teams last season and they have not gone away. For me, I will take promotion be it in first , second or third position. I think top 3 is a must with this squad.

Parkway 1 - Torquay 1. The visitors scored in the 88th minute to equalise. ( gutted ) . Even though this was a friendly , I would go as far to say that this was possibly one of the best Parkway performances I have seen over the many years I have been following them. Great too see all of the subs used to ( not just for 10 mins either ) , it would have been so easy for the Management team to have kept the starting 11 out there and go for a big scalp of a victory. Not sure of the actual crowd and Im poor at guessing lol , so somewhere between 250 and 350.

Not meaning to be disrespectful , but would you not expect professional football clubs to score 6 or 7 past our teams ? Think you are being a bit harsh on Tavi , but that is your opinion.

Totally agree Westcountry boy. Its good too see our leagues stronger teams take on the higher level clubs too. 100% Cornish , cant see Tavi being in the bottom half. They still have a fine team.

He was excellent today in Parkways 4-2 win over Barnstable.

I thought the grass was far too long for a decent footy game. Credit to Liskeard as they kept fighting and had several chances themselves. ( not meaning to be patronising ). Impressed with most of Parkways new signings , but very early days yet. Ben Joyce was excellent in midfield too. No Hobbs or Smith so a good result with both strikers missing. Got to be taken as Uwde said , a leg stretcher , friendly. Great to visit Lux Park again and the pasty was good. Still burping it up now tho. I am sure this season will be just as tight as the last , as there are several good teams about again. Promotion is the aim , wether its first , second or third, so come on Parkway.
