Bloody hell , on the Parkway site shows Saturday ko. Can't make Friday.................. this season has turned into a complete farce.

Parkway 2 - Stoke 1. Poor game to watch last night in the cold. Have not had a game for ages and it showed. Amazing how a team can be 1 nil up after 40 mins and not had a shot on target ? Stokes goal went right in from the corner lol. Second half was not much better. Parkway scored , the striker went to retrieve the ball from the net and all hell broke loose. The striker was knocked to the floor and kicked several times underneath the large group of players. After the ref spoke to the sleeping linesman , he then sent the striker off and a Stoke player ? Not sure how that should of happened. He then awarded a goal kick ha ha. Then realising it was a goal , he awarded it. I think if the Parkway players had kept quiet he would have not given the goal. Comedy of errors lol. I don't normally complain about paying a fiver to watch , but felt mugged off last night. Both teams all over the place and the passing was awful. ( even if you have not played for ages , you should not forget how to pass a ball ) . Sorry but that's how it was. I will still be there Saturday lmao. The new pathway was great too. The whole ground looked great. Though the pitch was in excellent condition , well done Gaz mate. Play poor and get 3 points. Perhaps its not as bad as I thought. Cmon Parkway.

Parkway off too . Think weve only played 12 in the league. We have a fixture pile up every season. Perhaps play 2 games a week from august to november ( weather permitting ) . And extend the season if required. Dont give me that rubbish about cricket lol. This is football we are talking about.

Thought it was you. Other than Fred and Jeff everyone else would remember me. I remember the the video , when you saved the penalty the guy with the cam corder ran with the rest of us. It was weird seeing the play back going up and down , then we reached you and piled on lol. I was the guy who picked the players to go. I always played in goal for our friendlies , but was not a patch on you. So settled for the bench. if you pm me your email address I will pass on the photo. Yep , I remember now. Both excellent players. Yes , won on penalties against the diving Italians. Great after party in a 3000 packed night club where the bouncers were on the outside on horse back. Looking at the standard of that team , I think they would be able to have held their own in the lower regions of todays current South West Premier. Does Paul coach now ? And anyone know what freddie is up too.

In 1998 , I player Managed a Ranco Controls Ltd football team that comprised of local factory players from our Southway in Plymouth and Bodmin factories. This team was put together to take on Ranco teams from France , Italy and Germany. It took place in a place called Thyez ( think thats how its spelt lol ) , in France. After 3 days of football we returned triumphant with the cup. There was a recent photo of the team in last weeks Evening Herald. Looking back , their were 2 players who played in Cornwall at the time and they were very good too. Does anyone remember them. One was the old man of the team and he was probably the best player ive played with. All I remember about his name was Freddie ferrett ...... The other was a goal keeper who I am sure I have seen coaching on our current footie scene. He also played at Bodmin and in later years was , I think the groundsman at Bodmin.I will try and insert the photo .

First time ive seen him play and thought he was good. Be more than happy to see him in goal for us.

They looked well organised and had a good defence. Their keeper spider looked good.

Parkway 2 nil winners. Hard fought game by both teams on a very heavy pitch. Some new players since I last watched Parkway , and they seemed ok. Clinical finishing by Richards . Good start too the new year. My man of the match was Steve Colwell.

What clubs would that be then Leeds.

Just putting this out there , so dont bite my head off. As teams dont take promotion , for very valid reasons , is this premier league much different than the Plymouth Sunday league ? Most of the good players play in that league ! If you compare the top few teams in each league , they are of similar ability.

If there were no step higher to go , then fair enough. But think the league winners should get promoted and if they get relegated the next season , then so be it. You should not be able to pick and choose what league you play in.
