Exmouth 0 v Parkway 0. A very evenly matched game which had very few good goal scoring opportunities. The first half was 50 / 50 and I feel Parkwary edged the second half. Exmouth hit the bar from a free kick which made the Parkway fans put their hands over eyes. Both teams had very well organised defences. No man of the match today , team effort. 108 mile round trip for a point and I will take that. A win at Tavi Wednesday should give us the title. Well done lads. -

What a nail biting game and cracking value for £4. Withy started brighter and went one nil up with a superb goal that went into the top corner of the net giving the keeper no chance. A Keystone cop moment saw them increase there lead to 2 nil. Parkway were not in the game up to then. Withy were reduced to 10 men midway through the first half , when a 2 footed tackle erupted into a melee. Parkway took over then and just before half time Dan Lewis pulled a goal back. The second half saw Parkway have a large majority of the play but could not break down what I thought was an excellent defence. Parkway levelled through Ryan Richards and then the game turned into the Alamo. Deep into stoppage time I just said the words "Gaze in having a crap game" , when he popped up and rippled the back of the net with the winner. What the hell do I know lol. My man of the match was Dan Hart. We will take the points and move on to the next game.

BODMIN VS PLYMOUTH PARKWAY
THE BALD ONE replied to 100%cornish's topic in Walter C Parson Peninsula League Forum
That is a fair shout. Not enough good chances made last night. Miller a class act still. 4 games left and 3 very loseable ( if that is a word ) fixtures at that. Withy , Exmouth and Saltash. Need to put that loss behind them and take one game at a time. My Parkway man of the match last night was Gav Coulton. Several players looking tired , the fixture pile up is rediculous. But it is what it is. Cmon Parkway. -

Huge game Ivy v Parkway. Cant believe I will miss it. Will Stringer into double figures for the season lol. Sound like I missed a cracker yesterday too. Well done lads. -
I thought Elburton gave a good account of themselves at Parkway.A very evenly contested game. I was very happy with the 3 points. Off to Germany for 7 days and gutted about missing the next 3 games. Good luck to Wayne and Lee and the lads a very tough 2 games next. Cmon Parkway.

A very even first half saw Parkway go into the break with a one nil lead through a good move and slotted home by Lance Bailey.Carter had two goals disallowed for off side where it looked like one was and the other was not. Parkway were the stronger side second half and their captain Stringer was taken to hospital for a bad head injury. Hope all is well Strings. Launceston went down to 10 men when the keeper brought down Rundle in the area. The penalty was put in the corner of the net just beating the sub keeper by Levi Landricome. It was one way traffic after that.launceston kept going , then had another man sent off for a proffesional foul. As keith b stated it was not that sort of game that would see red cards. A well earned clean sheet for the Parkway defense and 3 points in the bag. I had 2 men of the match today , both wide men Luke Rundle and Paul Heveren. Well played lads. -

Not sure we do. But if there is a contender , he can not match Godolphins chap. I do remember your team actually has one too. Very vocal gent who was standing in our shelter during your recent visit. Sounded a bit like a fog horn. -

Had the un-pleasure of standing very close to the G's village idiot last night. What a complete dork !!!!!!!!! Could this have been Captain Pugwash ? Anyway, tough game and a good one to watch. The G are a good team and went 2-1 down when they were on top of play. Very impressed with the Lowry brothers. The third goal saw them off and its onto the final for Parkway. Well done lads. -

A much improved performance from the Blazey game. Thought the back 3 and the keeper were excellent last night. And keeping a clean sheet against the G shows how good they were. Well done lads. -
