  1. Blazey Boy - I just noticed your moto , Meat Pie, Sausage Roll, Come On Blazey, Give Us A Goal!!!! lmao , class.
  2. I thought the Blazey keeper did ok. Blazey deserved the win in the end too. That has done some damage to our title challenge !!!!!!!!
  3. And one of the good ladies who usually run the Tea-Hut.
  4. Match report and full details of fracas on the peninsula web site. Thankyou.
  5. Who scored for Ivybridge and who got sent off please.
  6. I would say Ivybridge are the best team I have seen this season. I have only seen them play once though.
  7. Computor froze. Yes we were both there. Good result and a good performance. You are correct Miller was outstanding.
  8. Myself nor way of the park went to the match. I can not comment on what I did not see.We write reports for good or poor performances.Win lose or draw.
  9. That's more like it .......... Good performance last night. My man of the match was Dan Hart. The pitch was in great condition and I thought the stands and the work that has been done to the ground was excellent. A credit to Elburton football club. Well done - great effort. It is nice to see money being spent on facilities.
  10. Villains, are you the report policeman now. I can not add anything more than Way of the Parks post. How a goal did not go in was unbelievable. I thought Lance Bailey was Parkways best player last night. Onto the next game. Cmon Parkway.
  11. Villains , I will say it how it is sir. No complaints about the final score , the better team won on the night. That loss has been on the cards for a few weeks now. Your report is an accurate account and by the time I got home I was very cold, tired and disappointed. No sour grapes about losing , I am a football fan and appreciate good football no matter who is playing it. This is however the third game on the trot with very strange reffing decisions. For both sides may I add The strikers and barn door comment was bang on. For me Andrew Neil was the best player on the pitch. I remember seeing him play at the age of 7 up to 16 and he has always been way ahead of his age group. Good luck for the rest of the season. I hope this defeat will kickstart the Parkway lads to move up a gear and rise to the challenge ahead. Fixture pileup and suspensions. Cmon Parkway.
  12. This game should be a cracker. Would not like to call this result. Any predictions out there ?
  13. 2 points dropped , rather than 1 gained last night. We had plenty of chances to win this by several goals. Second game on the trot where the ref made some very strange decisions. ( for both sides ). Bovey took the lead through a penalty very early on , many shouts from the Bovey contingent for the Parkway keeper to be sent off. ( no chance lads ). As the game went on Parkway had more of the possession and created several good chances. The equaliser came from a good header by Paul Heveran. Parkway took the lead in the second half through a strong shot by Levi Landricombe which went through the keepers legs. Late on in the game Parkway went down to 10 men. ( rightly so ) . The tables seemed to turn slightly after that and Bovey kept coming forward and equalised from just outside the 6 yard box. Not the best of games to watch for the football , but entertaining from the physical side. One Bovey player actually brought a Parkway player down with a rugby tackle ...... No card shown ...... outrageous. My man of the match was the Bovey keeper. He made several great saves. Next stop Ivybridge.
  14. Good assessment . Hard fought game , in which both sides looked jaded at the end. Got to agree about the ref , some strange decisions against both sides. Good penalty shouts at both ends. Man of the match for me was Mike Landricome. 3 points in the bag , well done lads.
  15. Going to miss the lad Richards, he has been one of our best players over the recent couple of seasons. I wish him well stepping up the leagues. The remainig lads need to dig in now and pile on the points.
  16. There were 4 proffesionals in the starting line up. I agree with cjh , they would have beaten most teams in the SWWPL. Great win for Parkway.
  17. Crowd was approx 220. The flare was lit by a Exeter City fan behind their goal . Looked good , although a pain , as the game was stopped to let the smoke clear. Thought I was in the San Ciro for a moment. Hectic , eventful first 10 minutes. If Exeter kept their 11 men on the pitch this may have been a different result. But they did not and Parkway go to the final. Some of the fast accurate passing of the Exeter team was a pleasure to watch. We had big problems in the second half where some of the players looked like they were running on empty and Exeter kept coming at them. We could not keep the ball and this put the team under pressure. 5 excellent penalties to clinch the tie. You have to put this result into context , Exeter are part of a professional football outfit. This a great result for Wayne and the lads and congratulations to all of them. Well done to Gaz for getting the pitch into a playable state. Great effort bud. A couple of Argyle faithful stood in front of me and could not believe the value they got for £4. Pity more of these fans did not turn up to our home games. Well done again lads , cmon Parkway.
  18. I remember that game Nanks. Was the only thing we had to cheer about.you gave us a right stuffing lol
  19. On the edge stuff all game. I can not believe we did not score at least one goal. I like the description from 100%Cornish about the Alamo. So many attempts and nothing to show for it. I do not want to take anything away from the Godolphin performance as they battled all match and played some very good fast pass and move football. Scott Flanagan was my man of the match. Confident and composed all game. For the last 20 minutes Parkway sported last seasons top 3 scorers in the league. Got to mention the awful miss by Levi Landricome , who had three quarters of the goal to slot the ball into and tried to break the net with the ball going out for a throwing. Great result for the G and I am sure we will avenge this result on the home fixture. The village idiot made himself visible by shouting a right load of pump from behind the goal , both halves. lol... Could this be Pugwash , who has gone very quiet over the past few weeks ? Not sure what the quantity of the crowd was , but I counted at least 40 Parkway followers. Would have been a nice gesture if the beaten Parkway players had acknowledged us at the end of the game ! All history now , roll on next Saturday, Cmon Parkway.
