Godolphin v Parkway - Saturday.
THE BALD ONE replied to THE BALD ONE's topic in Walter C Parson Peninsula League Forum
I have not yet seen Godolphin ,Ivybridge or Witheridge this season. But am sure that on their day as with some other clubs in the league , they could take points from Parkway. The fixture backlog is very worrying for Parkway. If we start to hit 3 games a week , this will take its toll. -

Results And Table 14th December
THE BALD ONE replied to Ian Pethick's topic in Walter C Parson Peninsula League Forum
It was good to make contact Ian,I now have another club to talk to for news and stats which will make it easier in compling programme notes. I dont go to many away fixtures but with all the new facilities at Bolitho Park and the possibilty of progressing to Western League I pencilled in this date as I had not visited since the changes. I must say the complex (Changing rooms/Tea bar/Toilets/Clubhouse) was ideally set up and on a good sunny/warm day would make for a popular pre match meeting area. Having a tea before the match I was amused by the light hearted banter between the Plymouth folk in this area. Unfortunately the weather turned very nasty for the second half and I watched from the comfort of the clubhouse. Everyone was friendly and helpful to me but sorry not to meet "The Bald One" who I had on my list. I enjoyed the half time refreshments so much I missed the early second half goal which in effect won the game. Watching the first half from the sidelines it was a fair effort from lowly Falmouth but it was evident that the quality of the 'name' Parkway players would come good and as I predicted would find it easier against the second half gale. Pleased that Falmouth created a number of goalscoring chances but the second half goals did seem a bit easy. btw I counted 12 people supporting Falmouth not including Mr.Westgarth's grandchildren lol Hi Mike , That was the first game I have missed this season. I will make sure that I introduce myself on the away fixture next season if we are in the same league. Great feedback above. Parkway have come a long way. -

I ran a DJM team for 8 years and several of the players within the age group I ran are having an impact in this league. The following players were some best lads too. Rocky Neal - Ivybridge Steve Sutton - Ivybridge Todd Hanarahan - Ivybridge Dan Hart -Parkway Its great to see young talent coming through. -

FA VASE - PARKWAY v WANTAGE TOWN

Great result yesterday on a very difficult heavy pitch. The lads came back well from last weeks defeat and showed true grit to get the win. Great to see Paul Heveran in the starting line up and also scoring a great goal. Lets hope for a next round draw against a team we have not played before. My man of the match was Ben Elphick. I would say this was the best performance by a Parkway keeper since I have been watching them. Well done lad. Another good crowd. Looked 200 ish . Cmon Parkway. -
PARKWAY v BODMIN ...... GAME IS ON.

Disappointed with the result yesterday. Thought a draw would have been fair. Parkway missed a few good chances. Not much between the two teams on the day. Miller made a couple of excellent saves . Not sure about Mike Landricome at right wing back ? Probably due to our 3 other right wing backs unavailable. A very fast paced scrappy game where both teams gave 100%. Surprised that all 22 players stayed on the pitch. Lee Doel looked like he had been mud wrestling by the end of the game. He was knocked around all over the park. Nice to see you back at Bolitho mate. My Parkway man of the match was Steve Collwell. No sour grapes from me , it is what it is. Looking forward to the FA Vase next Saturday. Unlucky lads , cmon Parkway -
Good luck Mr MQ. On a recent visit to Lux Park I was impressed with your possitive attitude and the discipline in which you managed with. Hope it all goes well for you . The Bald One.

Another good strong team performance last night. Must give credit to MR.MQ and his young team as they kept going from start to finish and never gave up. ( hope the lad who got stretchered off towards the end of the match is ok ). My man of the match was Steve Colwell ( closely followed by Gav Coulton ).. Big test for us against Gillingham on Saturday. Cmon Parkway.
