  1. Danny Lewis has been a great signing for us and he is key in the centre of midfield. He is one of the best players I have seen playing at this level for several years. We now have a replacement for Shane Crac. There are other good signings that have made a significant difference this season, such as Steve Colwell , Mike.Landricome and Gav Coulton. Another player that is doing very well is young Dan Hart. Looking good lads. Keep it going.
  2. A superb performance from Parkway last night. Great all round team performance. 2 very well taken goals from the young lad Hilson. Keep it going boys. My man of the match was Steve Colwell.
  3. Monty , I agree with Way of the Park ( once again ). The ref failed to make at least 2 important decisions correctly. I accept that referees will either miss something or read a situation in a different way, but the blatant penalty claim and the headbutt was right in front of this ref. I think he bottled it. There were plenty of possitives to take from the match. Move on to the next game......
  4. Thoroughly agree Way of the park. I was gutted by the result and still think we should have had at least a replay. But we would have had to put the ball in the net for that. I thought the back 3 were excellent yesterday ( ok Gav - you have won me over bud - a good positive Captains performance ). Danny Lewis , Hart and Colwell ran the game and we slightly lost our way when Hart was substituted early in the second half ( this kid is one for the future - he haunted the youth team I used to run and I can see him causing the same problems for senior teams for many years to come ). My man of the match was Danny Lewis. Great away support yesterday and on another day Levi Landricombe would have bagged a double. Unfortunately that's how it goes and next stop Launceston in the league. Great effort lads , it was a good game to watch.
  5. Good performance today by Parkway. A well deserved win. My man of the match was Danny Lewis. Non stop quality and effort all match, Fantastic save by Elphick in goal towards the end if the game. Well done lads. Next stop FA cup.
  6. In Turkey at the moment with my mankini , sandles , socks pulled up and a hankey on my bald head.will miss Saturdays game so all the best Parkway and get through to the next round. Cmon Parkway.
  7. No problem Mr.German. But you must admit you were out of line Tuesday.
  8. If this is true , what the hell was Tuesday night all about. Parkway's number one striker , Mr Richards was substituted for him. Absolute joke. This league is becoming a circus
  9. Fair assessment MR.German. A draw would have been a fair result. Your above post seems to be in a different mood to the pump that was coming from your technical area on Tuesday evening which I found to be totally unacceptable and childish ? Your good wishes for the rest of the season is perhaps your appology ?
  10. Looking forward to the Bouncy Castle. And the pint of cider Way Of The Park owes me ( tight git ).
  11. Paul , fair summary. I thought the young Blazey lads did you proud last night ( not meaning to be patronising either ). The captain , who got injured after about 5 minutes , worked tiredlesly all game. The left winger who came on as sub ( who looked about 10 ) gave the Parkway defence nothing but problems. Could have been 5 or 6 to Parkway , but you have to put them between the sticks to make them count. I thought the Parkway formation looked very disjointed and some players seemed to be out of position on many occassions. At the end of the day 3 points and I will take that. Hope the big FA cup game against Saltash on Saturday brings a better performance. Keep your chin up Mr.Richards , on another day you would have bagged a hatrick. Great to see Levi Landricombe get on the score sheet. Well done lad. Was that the famous Dan Blazey behind the goal last night ? Cmon Parkway.
  12. This was not their strongest line up and had 3 young lads on the bench. However , this line up should realy be beating the likes of Stoke Gabriel( no disrespect intended ). I would put this result in the catagorie of an off night. Parkway had 2 very contentious goals disallowed for offside within the first 10 minutes. But that is how it goes sometimes. Do not take anything away from Stoke , as they were in Parkways face all game. Well played. I think Parkway had one eye on this Sundays game against Bodmin. Cmon Parkway.
  13. Elphick Stringer Coulton M.Landricome Rundle Hart Lewis Colwell Heveran Hicks L.Landricombe On the bench - Hilson , Bonney ( who was superb when he came on ) ,Richards. No idea of the Buckland team. They did have a squad of 15 or 16.
  14. Buckland 0 Parkway 2. ( Lewis , Heveran ), An excellent performance by the new look Parkway squad last night against a strong Buckland team. We went in half time 1 nil up through a well placed header from Dan Lewis. I would say we controlled the game up to this point 60 / 40. Young Dan Hart in the centre of midfield had an outstanding game. For a youngster of 19 he is calm , cool and very skillful. I look forward to seeing him progress as a first team player this season. The second half started with Buckland on the attack , but the back three of Coulton , Stringer and Landricombe held their ground and Elphick in goal did not look like letting any goals in. Paul Heveran increased Parkways lead midway through the second half with a well struck direct freekick. Overall this was a great Parkway performance and I have to admit the 3 - 5 - 2 looked good tonight. Looking good for the new season. Keep it up lads and well done. Gav , I can not believe you tried to claim that goal lol
  15. That will do for me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cmon Parkway.
  16. Parkway 0 Weston 0. Even first half where the Weston striker could not hit a barn door and the Weston keeper made 2 or 3 good saves to deny Parkway the lead. The second half saw Weston have more control of the game. But Parkway with their new boys looked good. I am looking forward to the start of the season. Can't say I like the 3 - 5 - 2 formation , but we did not concede against a team 3 to 4 leagues above us. The crowd was approx and no more than 150, which I find unbelievable, especially for a Friday fixture. Same old faithful propping the bar up lol. The pitch , clubhouse and changing rooms looked great. Good effort lads , even Gav Coulton fitted in well. Did I just write that ! Well done Gav. Cmon Parkway.
  17. 1. St.Austell 2. Parkway 3. Bodmin 4. Bovey Tracy / Launceston
