Do you have any up and coming stars in your team ? I have seen several this season. For Parkway we have Sam Hilson and Dean Turner.

To be honest ,I would prefer it if Parkway saw the season out with the lads they have now. They are playing well for each other and as a team unit. ( Ok then you can throw Andy Sargeant into the squad ). Then no more.

Yep.......... Worthy winners. I am sure on a different day they would have bagged 4 or 5. I do not want to see them going down , they are bringing through some very good youngsters and this is great to see.

Tricky , yes my report was short but accurate. Not sure why you would really love to meet me though , this is a football forum not a dating site. I have played / followed football for 30 years and say it how it is. If you ever read my match reports on Parkway they would be no different if we were poor also. I truly feel the game lacked quality but as I stated there was a lot of effort. Your team could have won by 4 or 5 goals to nil and were in the end worthy winners. It was good to see young talent being processed at this level. Where do you see lots of negatives in my report ?????? I also stated about the poor ref and linesman. You are also correct my team ( with all it's stars ) did only beat the Marines 1 - 0 , and I did state we were poor and to be fair the Marines deserved a draw ! I suggest you read my report again and you will see it was not as negative as you first thought ! Once again really interested why you want to meet me ? Please explain this comment. I am not only a Parkway supporter , I have on several occassions this season watched Tavistock ,Elburton , Saltash .Ivybridge and Liskeard when they were not playing Parkway. I was actually supporting your team last night , I won't bother next time.

Watched a very young Ivybridge team beat an aggressive Marine side tonight, A game full of effort but lacking in quality. To be honest , Ivybridge should have won 4 or 5 nil , Several clear cut chances were missed by the 2 big lads up front . This was probably one of the poorest games I have seen this season ( and I have seen a few stinkers ). The ref and one of his linesman were awful tonight giving some very strange decisions. I can accept that they will get it wrong from time to time , but the level of consistantcy was poor. At the end of the day Ivybridge deserved the 3 points and now move above Blazey !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Once again a good effort from a youthful team

A win for Ivybridge will take them above St Blazey . Any predictions ??????????????

More Cheeseburgers than Pasties at Buckland What no pasties ?

Way of the Park had to stand in for me yesterday sampling the Ivybridge pasty. Here is what he txt me : Pastry good , nicely spiced , meat a bit gristly but not a contender. Away trips to Buckland , Launceston , Falmouth and Torpoint still to come. Liskeard still in the lead.

I would rather talk about fooyball , but I know a lad who goes around door to door trying to get people to sign up for 12 months on a monthly basis to charities , home and abroad. They try to get you to give £5 a month = £60 a year to a cause ............ be it save the panda or water for Africa or what ever. He has told me that he gets £15 a sign up and his Manager gets £15 also ? So out of the £60 you would give ,£30 goes in admin cost ? This is probably usless info , but I thought it worth putting it out there ....................

Nemesis , I can not make the Parkway game against Liskeard on Saturday, as I will be in Newquay on a lads p/up. I will take this opportunity to take in the Newquay game. Do pop in early if you want to catch the Chelsea v Spurs game on the big screen. If not, you will find me in the Main Stand, pointing a camera in the general direction of the pitch. I may just take you up on that offer. Oh and by the way I will be the Bald One.

Tricky , If we still had the squad we started the season with ,I feel a top 4 place would have been possible. I can not see any chance now of being in the top 5. If we finish in 7th , I would say we have done well considering all of disruption. If we had started the season with this team , I do believe we would have finished above Elburton. How about you at Ivybridge , will you stay up ?

Paul , Have you not been following events the last month ?????? A few weeks ago at Witheridge we were struggling to get a side out. Like your selves, all of the "so called star players " have flown the nest . We are having to rebuild within the season and not like Blazey at the end. The players that have gone this season : B.Elphick , D.Evans ( broken leg ) , P.Heveran ( broken foot ) ,M.David ,J.Alexander ,D.Brook ,B.Joyce,D.Mason, A.Sargent,CWright ,G.Hobbs , S.Krac. The above 12 players would make a title challenging side on their own. How many other clubs could have coped with losing this amount of quality players and still stay competative.

A great performance from the new look Parkway team tonight , and to be honest I think we deserved the win. Bodmin shaded the first half , but Parkway competed well. The second half saw Parkway hit the woodwork and miss a penalty. Bodmin scored the winner with a few minutes to go . I was disappointed with the way Bodmin played tonight, as all they seem to do is punt the ball up for the big lads upfront. ( it did work though ) . Guess that is why they will be Champions this season. I was appalled by the constant abuse / moaning and whinging from the large Bodmin bench - all game. The Stadler and Waldorf half a dozen Bodmin fans by the far goal side were all shouting abuse most of the game also. You would think they should know better at their age . All in all a good game to watch and a good performance from the Parkway lads. Gez and Wayne have got this team working well together and I hope this current team stay together . WELL DONE LADS ...... You may not have won the 3 points but you did win the moral victory. Must have been about 250 crowd tonight .
