  1. Sending Mrs Bald One shopping with the mother in law. Robin Van Parkway and his mob back mine for few ciders after.
  2. What will you be doing this festive Boxing Day ? I will be watching Elburton against Parkway and will then take in Saltash against Liskeard !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then home for stuffing and more Turkey ............... and ample amounts of cider. Who said the Christmas spirit is dead ?
  3. Not sure ?????????? I personally think people do not realise that the Parkway team are the second biggest team in Plymouth ? Of course many people know about them , but I am convinced there are many that do not. I have introduced several people to this level of football and I was introduced to watching this level about 5 years ago by a Liskeard fan. I watched them many times before even realisng what Parkway were about. I am sure if Argyle fans did watch , who have not watched before they would be converted.
  4. Don.t agree with you Train No disrespect, but...... you dont have to agree, its common knowledge and more or less facts. Do you live in plymouth ?, if you do then you would know that the friday night crowds are alot of argyle followers, cswpl players and supporters from a number of cswpl clubs from in and around the plymouth area and maybe slightly further. Why else do you think there crowds are higher than every other club. all you have to do is look at saltash uniteds attendance if they have a friday night game and you will see the same outcome I do live in Plymouth and agree that Friday night games have larger crowds. If only all home games could be played then. I just struggle to understand why we do not get more support on other days ? It is great value for money win / lose or draw. Many people I have spoken to , who do enjoy football , but are not involved on the local scene - have never heard of Plymouth Parkway. I must admit that does not mean I have surveyed hundreds of people. I just wonder why Parkway could not convert a few hundred Argyle fans ???????????
  5. I dont think their gates would be many more ! You would be surprised how many people in the Plymouth area do not even know they exist , which is a shame . I look forward to the Parkway fixture each week. Good pitch , good comittee and great lads running the team. The players are also great bunch too.
  6. Why wouldnt i expect a warm welcome because i follow Newquay ? ? ? Explain yourself please. I live an work here ! who do you sugest i follow. I watch The G,an Perranporth, when i can, thus supporting local football teams ? Is that so wrong of me ? Good on ya. A true football fan...............welcome. THANKS YUL, LOL. WHO DO YOU FOLLOW ? Your welcome ............. Partkway Parkway, did you not win the cup at newquay last year ? agianst St Blazey. That was a cracking match, even a bit of crowd trouble if memory serves. The lad who played on the right wing, good player, watch you beat The G aswell, same cup ? Yes , had a good cup run. It was a good game , quite a close fought match also. marred a bit by the crowd trouble , but other than that a good day out. Yeah, all the best for the rest of the season,an good luck with the promotion thing Cheers.

  10. When you had problems Dan , was that after your usual antics behind the goal ?????? If so I can understand the home crowd being less than hospitable.
  11. I was there earlier this season and it did look good. The pasties were top notch also.
  12. It is not all about large crowds. We have a consistant crowd and have to contend with Plymouth Argyle when they are at home. The point I was trying to make is how you always had a large support and now it is very poor. I see Dan and yourself as true fans but at a recent game at your place I was very disappointed with turn out. The Parkway fans will be there come good or bad results. Please remember , it was not that long ago we were just a Sunday league pub team.
  13. Dan here's a festive tune for you : jingle bells jingle bells jingle all the way , oh what fun it is to see Blazely get thrashed away.
  14. milk , milk lemonade Dan !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :drink:
  15. Dan , I am happy with that !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I found your supporters standing behind the goals singing rubbish and at times disrespectful songs agonisingly boring and pathetic. So go annoy someone else anyway. Your supporters just look to cause trouble. Well thats if there are any left. :SM_carton:
  16. I am sure a discussion last week said that Newquay are a plenty with home grown youth ? the statement of lots of expensive players on show . just proves the point. Pay the money and they will come !!!!!!!!!!!! :c:
  17. Looks like WOTP is miffed at losing Danny Brook, great player BTW. Newquay Town were a Junior Club back in the 1930's - do try to keep up. I would suggest the original poster chooses the club closest to his home address, that way he would only have to travel for half the season (there are many other reasons). Not really miffed at losing Danny Brook , but i'm always a bit disappointed when a talented player chooses to play below the level at which he should be playing . But I cannot blame someone for taking the money, especially when he would not have been guaranteed a starting place at Parkway .. Where have you gone Nemesis ? Looking forward to your reply !
  18. If a club has had a cash injection , it normally does well !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was the point I was trying to make. I do agree with WAY OF THE PARK. How did Truro rise up the leagues so quickly ?
  19. Money Man , I never actually said it was. I just asked if this could be the case in this instance ?
  20. I was after your opinion. Any team that has a cash injection and are in a posotion to sign quality players like Danny Brooke should do better than most of the other teams that have no cash ( St.Blazey ????? ) . These players have dropped down a league !!!!!!!!!!!!
