  1. ECPL, did a little more digging and found this user guide. http://resources.thefa.com/images/ftimages/data/league8/15778.pdf My above post all stems from this User Guide Contents List http://fulltime-league.thefa.com/NewsItem.do?id=461958071
  2. Huge win for Torpoint vs a good Veryan side yesterday. Wasn’t the prettiest of games with the pitch wet in places resorting to avoiding overplaying in some central areas. Huge credit to Veryan who had clearly put some graft in to get the game on with recent postponements and the pitch held up much better than I predicted. A good well run club. overall I think we could’ve scored more than the 2 goals with chances missed, scuffed, well saved or blocked. But the introduction of young Will Ferguson at HT was the difference. I think that’s 6 goals in 5 games for him at Veryan in the past 3 seasons. They must hate him! Solid at the back and in midfield left Veryan with very few chances and Gilbert couldn’t add to his impressive tally for the season. also thanks to Veryan for agreeing on the venue reversal with Torpoint’s The Mill in use for the rescheduled Senior Cup game.
  3. With the amount of games called off in recent weeks Dave, some players may have had their seniority lapse (21 or 28days?) and therefore be able to play. That’s the rules and fair play. StMinver are a well run club and if they mix squads that’s a good thing surely? Too many clubs have a 1st and 2nd team who have no links between them whatsoever. Just look at St Blazey to name just one.
  4. Wasn't there today, but I saw a similar incident once at Pensilva approx 2013. Coincidentally involving the same player today I believe.
  5. So you want 22+ players x 2 to be cancelled to provide 2 linesman for 1 game? The whole country is hemorrhaging officials and the lower leagues such as Duchy, Combo and P&D are having games without referees every week already. Get yourself on a course if you want to be so obtuse!
  6. ECPL, based on what I've read on previous threads and posts on this topic, I am under the impression the Full Time site administrator for ECPL can allow the information to be shown. I've quickly had a read of this Full Time Site Help Guide, link below, and page 8 in particular may be how it's done? https://resources.thefa.com/images/ftimages/data/league8/2073.pdf If this is now how it's done, my next suggestion would be asking someone in your long list of contacts how it's done in other leagues for advise. St Pirans for example is a brand new league setup and has the functionalities so someone there must know, Steve Carpenter perhaps? Or someone on their committee must've done it? I hope anything I've posted hasn't come across as negative or derogatory as with all football I understand it's all volunteers such as yourself. It's just something I and many others would like to see.
  7. As Shouter says above, my understanding is it just needs activating and the full time site updates itself by utilising the info that the club's already submit. Just look at the Full Time websites for the Western League for Parkway games, St Pirans Leagues and the P&D leagues. Lineup, scorers, bookings, subs used inc minutes the subs were made. We're living in a data and stats age now where people want/enjoy to see this sort of information.
  8. I drove past cornwall services near Roche at 12:30 and it wasn’t wet after a dry morning in Redruth so must’ve been some water on the pitch. Therefore an earlier decision possible? Separately, some very one sided scorelines today and recent weeks. Wouldn’t be surprised to see some sides drop out altogether before November.
  9. I was wondering the same thing. Seems odd that St Pirans, Duchy and Plym & District full time sites show linesups, scorers, etc when ECPL doesn't, and hasn't. Every club is instructed to send team sheets and scorers. I thought if done correctly using the app now, that it uploads automatically. I could be wrong?
  10. Thanks Steve. Good to know, difficult to police! WGS certainly doesn't flag up registrations between non-conflicting leagues. Don't believe it shows a date someone is registered either, unless someone with higher permissions than what i'm seeing does, which would be good. But even so, a difficult role to undertake at this level of football as it is all volunteers that take these roles on for their respective leagues and clubs. One of the many thankless tasks.
  11. 1 - My understanding is a SWL club don''t need to submit an approach to a Duchy club (for example) to sign a player as the leagues do not conflict. The player can freely be signed on for both. 2 - If a Duchy side attempt to sign a player already signed to a Duchy side, this is picked up on WGS yes. It was last season anyway.
  12. If people are worried about competition, they why vote them in at the AGMs?
  13. Football legend 7, if the club in question were also in the Duchy leagues, I would side with you and feel they were in the wrong. But being a SWL side, I'm confident they have not committed any error. E.g. one single player could be signed on for 4 different clubs in 4 different leagues, such as SWL, St Piran, ECPL, P&D and/or Duchy leagues, and that player can play for any of the four on any day with no one being in the wrong.
  14. Take it as a compliment Roy. Great pitch and facilities at Sticker. See you on the 20th in Torpoint.
  15. Fanfare is right, IMO Veryan's pitch and facilities are better than at least four in the league. They will pass their grading inspection.
  16. Yes Dave, Veryan are subject to ground approval. But imo they will pass that comfortably.
  17. I can understand the commitment and yes clubs apply, etc. But the distance thing does matter to some Dave. Having the same drivers from a team every week, paying subs, paying for fuel, driving 120miles+ in a day, does take its toll.
  18. Not as far as I'm aware. I was also recently told a Duchy side were invited to apply to ECPL despite there already being the 16 applicants required to fill the league. So if the constitution was known why would they be seeking more applicants? I’m referring to ECPL not knowing to clarify. I’ve seen the new St Pirans teams have been announced.
