  1. Hi CFF, currently injured (2/3 weeks left on recovery) but looking for a new club this upcoming season, due to have a replacement already lined up. Based in Helston but can travel for the right club. Played Div 1 last season Pm me if you’re interested Thanks
  2. I presume as long as we’re in the top 4 then yes. The large amount of games that’s been played in the past 5/6 weeks has taken a toll on the squad, leaving us with at least half picking knocks/ injuries. It left us with no choice but to concede the game yesterday due to low numbers. Being in the top 4 of the division it’s completely unlike us to not fulfill the fixture but we have to turn our attention to getting a squad together for the next game.
  3. Div 1 west Praze 0-1 Mawnan A cut up pitch within the first 10 minutes of this game killed any chance of any pretty football. The wind down pitch also made the game difficult at times. The only goal coming 10 minutes from time, a freekick which found its way into the box with an unmarked Luke Wort chilling at the back post to head home. Apart from that, a very even game. Both keepers being tested with countless chances but none making its way into the net. Maybe a dubious disallowed goal from a corner from the home side but other than yet, a very even affair. A draw probably the fairest result but unfortunately not the be today. The canaries with only their 2nd defeat of the season but plenty of games still to play and with 3 games in hand minimum from the teams around them, there’s slight pressure but one challenge the boys will be looking forward to. Onto next week
  4. Praze 3-1 Wendron 3s Started slow, took the lead after being camped in their half for the majority of the first 25 minutes. A reply from a quick counter shortly after left it level at the break. A change in personnel for the Praze boys and the 1-1 became 3-1 and looked comfortable for the remainder of the game. Top of the league unbeaten, into the next round of the cup from a previous weeks’ result and hopefully a next round success down at Newlyn next week, but won’t tempt fate! Looking good and 7 from 7! Luke Carroll ⚽️⚽️ Harry Badcock ⚽️ Alex Andru with 3 assists 🔥
  5. CSOM 3-4 Praze A difficult game for the away side today, with the Uni boys first game of the season, they looked a well organised side. Difficult to break down and played some good football. Very even for 3/4 of the game, but a 3 goal stint within 20 minutes helped the canaries take the 3 points. There was hope in added time where the home sub striker shinned it through the keepers legs, but it was unfortunately too little too late. CSOM will take some points off of a few teams this season im sure. 5 from 5 and onto the next! 💚⚽️
  6. Mullion 2s 1-2 Praze AET Fairly even contest, with the away side not at their best and also with 6 regular players away/injured. We dug deep to win it on 110 minutes and into the hat for round 2. Credit to Francis Hood the referee, being the main official for this game then staying around Mullion to be a linesman for their 1st team game. Fairplay to you sir, need more people like you in Cornish football 👌
  7. West Cornwall 1-5 Praze Comfortable win, 3 from 3 and looking good 😊 Now for a beer.. 💚⚽️ Att - 38
  8. Praze 5-0 st day 2s started off with a penalty in the first minute and from them never looked like taking our foot off the gas. The score could’ve been double figures today if we converted all of our chances. Credit to St day, they never stopped running. Scott Gilbert the referee very good today, read the game very well and let the game flow 👌 2 from 2, first clean sheet of the season and 11 goals in the process. Onto the next game 🔰⚽️
  9. Helston raiders v storm about 35 watching. Storm a much improved side over the last few season. Impressed with the left winger and the striker who when got the ball down, ran at the defence constantly and caused the back line problems in both halves. Watching as a neutral today, I think taking Kian Rowland off for Helston was an awful decision. The front line really struggled to create anything and wouldn’t have scored really if he didn’t play, but that’s not to discredit the storm back line, defended well today. The game was even for about 70 minutes but Storm edged it for me.
  10. St just win the league by just 2 points and Praze take 3rd after pendeens defeat tonight. A great season and off goes the combination league. Signed off and into the archives!
  11. This is exactly why I’ve posted this. Some of your boys need to learn that chatting about/slating someone because of their size or their peformance doesn’t mask them the player that they are. It’s damn right disrespectful and I hope this defeat has brought them to the real world.
