  1. Listened to it on the radio and game sounded very even - their keeper making a few good saves Truro need to ditch 5 at the back and start playing more football, too much hoofing
  2. I can provide you my apple watch read out. Behind the goal it was loud. However, I've now been down the other end of the ground and the noise doesn't travel. The club needs some songs/chants
  3. No. Very unlikely. Fa Cup usually has a different pricing structure
  4. You said ‘poor look from all sides’ Easy to criticise. Truro are essentially building a fan base, and an identity from scratch. They have started well. I’ve enjoyed my couple of jaunts down there. Chants, and atmosphere will come as the fans get to know one another and more importantly the team better. The only significant issue currently is the wind. I dismissed this as an issue the first time I heard the complaint, but have to admit the game was compromised when the wind got up.
  5. Did you watch it? Dorkings copy of the league guide didn’t turn up, and then they made an assumption based on pictures from google. Not sure how any of that’s Truros fault.
  6. I'm told on pretty good authority the club have big ambitions for this season.

  8. This. The knowledge that funds are in place for first 5000 and 10000 with more covered seating will help. Ultimately the only thing that’s missing is some songs bar spelling our name. Need a few young lads to go on the piss and come up with some. The club should sponsor that activity and make a quirky video of the players listening in
  9. Have the club confirmed the new signing that was teased at the weekend?
  10. A train I'd imagine. Swindon to London is just over an hour
  11. My understanding from those close to the club is that we still have the smallest budget in the league, but this will grow if a number of conditions are met. Namely crowds continue to be above expectations, and more commercial partners come forwards. The club itself is really happy with the initial engagement from the fans. I understand that the money is already in place for the stadium to move to 5,000 next year and 10,000 the following year - you'd therefore think there must be some science behind continuing to grow and invest in the ground that links directly to rising attendances. Else why do it? Honestly, this is the first time I've started to believe that one or two more promotions could be possible, but only going to be so if attendances get close to 2000 in this league and double that in the league above.
  12. Rumour going around on Facebook that at least three of our lads are being hit with charges related to gambling
