Which team have more nicknames than players?
Which team have had more badges this millenium than players?
Which team have had more home grounds than players?
Take your pick as to the trivia pursuit question that best suits 😄

And its a sound plan, just noone has committed fully/properly to it.
The Truro fans with a brain recognise the following:
Success has largely been bought and therefore acquired through luck - but show me any recent footballing success story that hasn't been bought... The current status though has been maintained through a lot of hardwork and the good fortune has been paid back by the hard yards the faithful fans have put in travelling around the country Previous owners have done virtually nothing for the clubs image with regards to growing the support nor endearing themselves to the Cornish populous To even have a chance at further success and sustainable, the club needs to grow the fanbase and put a deep rooted, concerted effort into developing young players that can play at National League (and higher standard). Those that don't make it will then hopefully have the option to continue their careers in Cornwall Supporting Truro City isn't going to be for everyone, and thats fine. Fingers crossed we're moving into a golden age for Cornish football, a team operating higher up the ladder is long overdue, as is a real, and clear pathway for promising youngsters to go and make a successful career for themselves either at home or elsewhere in the pyramid.

Craze got a reaction from Ian Pethick in City's new boss confirmed
Its this really. The club needs to find a way of growing Cornish youngsters good enough to compete at National League level.

Craze got a reaction from Ian Pethick in Jake Ash for Truro City, please!
You'd like to think the gap between Torquay and Truro is small than the one between Truro and Mousehole. If TUFC can lure our manager over, hoping the right levers can be pulled to get a club legend back where he belongs.

John - you can't spell, you can't use capital letters... perhaps lay off calling people, valued members of this community, stupid hey?

Second that, tbh I thought he was a clogger, but the performance he put on at Yeovil when we lost 2-1, having had our chances he was absolutely immense, his engine incredible, his ability to break forward game-breaking, a real eye catching performance. A firm favourite of mine now!

FFS can we just please get an owner who gets that the only way to go forward is to get the community involved. Why the secrecy?

If it were me, I'd keep the first team ticking over, but place an emphasis on Truro becoming Cornwall's academy, and look to try and build a side organically, using Cornish youth.

Yeah I think crowds will be pretty healthy early on. Hoping the owner get us the 3-4 players the club needs to kick on. Namely two wide players with quality, a defensive midfielder, and I'd probably look at the full back positions as well, depending on if Sam Saunders can be lured back, then maybe centre back.

A good start in the league will do wonders for attendances. Not sure when Langarth will be available, but a few pre season friendlies in Cornwall would also be good in building awareness and links to the locals.
Definitely need to add a few in key positions, also a bit more squad depth required. Suspect that there might be a bit more transition on the playing side than we've seen recent seasons, a few of the older Plymouth based players are probably reaching the end of the road at step 2 level.
Do think that the coaching and support for Paul Wotton needs looking at. It's basically just him and Stewart Yetton at the moment, which contrasts with the small armies of staff that you see at some other NLS clubs.
