Poor attitude and belies the contempt with which the fans are held. Its a clubs duty to communicate openly and honestly with the supporters. Support the fans to support the club, very simple premise.

So to summarise after 35 replies and 1,500 views the news on the ground is "Go and look for it yourself"?

Yes its not an investment opportunity its a plea for funds which has been done in a really odd and borderline dishonest way IMO.

It is the equivalent of asking people to gather round and throw their wallets on the fire.

Truro City owner Dicky Evans says the club are aiming to reach League Two within the next three or four years.
The White Tigers won promotion back to National League South this month after winning the Southern Premier League South play-offs.
The club is owned by Evans, who also controls the Cornish Pirates rugby side and is in the process of a £2.5m crowdfunding campaign for the clubs.
"We're looking to get promoted as soon as we can," Evans told BBC Sport.
The club currently play at Plymouth Parkway's Bolitho Park ground, with plans for a new venue in Cornwall in the pipeline.
The White Tigers, who have twice reached the sixth tier of English football before, hope to have their new home ready in time for the start of the 2024-25 season.
The plan is for the ground to be able to be expanded so that Cornish Pirates would be able to share it and have a base suitable to play in the Premiership.
"The minimum budget is £500,000, so if we get some more money out of this crowdfunding then the budget will go up," added Evans.
"Paul Wotton's a great coach so we're looking to get into the English Football League in three or four years' time.
"It's two more promotions and do a Wrexham."

Would love to see it, but no chance. The budgets (crowds/followings) are huge in comparison to what TCFC have/will have.

Upon their elevation to the WL Plymouth Parkway Chairman Mark Russell spoke of his ambition to bring National League South football to Bolitho Park. Well it's happening, just not in the way he expected! Well done the White Tigers - what an achievement against the odds by Truro City!

So we're now 3 seasons in and looks like Truro will be staying in the Southern Prem, unless they win through the playoffs. Considering the budget, the players he's had at his disposal, the poor performance in the FA Cup in particular, the links to clubs at a higher level in the pyramid/bringing in loans, has the manager underperformed?
There are of course extenuating circumstances, Truro were almost up 3 years ago when covid hit, they have not had any home games for the past 2 years and this season they've run into a well-funded WSM team who are destined to give the Conference South teams a bit of an awakening next season.
For me, his post-match interviews tend to be pretty bland and samey, fairly uninspiring. The tactics rely heavily on the front two and Sully being on their game and we're lucky that we have one of the best keepers in the division. When taken in relation to the relative success that Hodges had with a lesser group of players I can't shake the nagging feeling that Truro should be doing better.
So Truro, and non-Truro fans how's the main man done?
