hammers
Bananaman, I think that it is on for a Draw, but if I were to put my money on it I think Falmouth will edge it by the odd Goal, Hammers :c:
cornishteddyboy
All are welcome to Fortress Penlee to see if the Town can tame the Magpies, or to watch Penzance slap down those upstarts from Bickland. :)

Mike Odgers
The Magpies are overdue for a win- Since Falmouth rejoined the SWL in 1984, 23 League and 3 cup games have been played at Penlee Park between the clubs. Penzance have only recorded victory twice 1995-96 W 2-0 and 2000-01 W 3-1.
hammers
Cornishteddyboy, this being a season of good will, I do not think that was very nice of you to call the Falmouth team upstarts, Can you explain what you mean by that comment, Hammers :c:
Mike Odgers
I have noted from the Penzance website that the match is being video'ed by Ron Vercesi formerly of Falmouth and Penzance. I hope it can be highlighted here on 'YouTube'

Fiery Jack
To be honest, it wasn't a classic but it was enthralling: PZ's first goal somehow squirmed through the keepers hands, while the second and third (second especially) were supremly well taken. Falmouth came back magnificently after the break: their second was also a cracker. PZ had one shot on target in the second half: against the bar. I lost count of the number of great saves Butcher pulled off and the number of last ditch goal-line clearances we somehow managed. The whole came was framed by a double sending off and what looked from the sidelines like fairly convincing Town penalty appeals. Still, three more points will do nicely, even if we did play our "get out of gaol" cards every few minutes! :)
Mike Odgers
Attendance recorded as 256 A second successive hat trick from the wonder kid Rundle Falmouth have NOT scored a hat trick from any player in their entire South West Peninsula history.
