The Big Easy
The below statement has been placed on the Postponement Section of the SWPL Website regarding this weekends fixtures: I will make a decision on Friday morning (by 11am on 8th Jan) as to whether to implement the severe weather postponement system that allows for games to be called off the day before or to require clubs to get referees in on matchday to inspect pitches only. There will be no update until Friday morning as mid-morning, having taken into account the prevailing weather, the forecast as issued that morning etc will be needed before I am able to make an informed decision as to which course of action is right to take. PH What is your own clubs pitch/area looking like for this weekend? or :SM_carton:
Harris
If anyone could shed some light on the state of Penryn's pitch that would be much appreciated. We have to travel from Plymouth and would really like to play the game but a bit of notice would be great!!
Harris
Hi Stu, Thanks for the message, i was thinking the games are more than likely going to be called off. As you said playing on a "magic carpet" is always a good thing and in the back of my mind i was hoping that the pitch would some how be on but realisticly im thinking it will be off. Happy new year to you too mate and all the best at Torpoint!!!! :clapper:
