The Professor
I can appreciate that people want to get games on, as we've had so many postponed already this season, but quite honestly it seems a bit hopeless when pro teams are calling off games for safety reasons, people travelling safely aswell as frozen pitches. Last Saturday only one game was played in the Prem, this week has been colder, for longer. Shouldn't all clubs be deciding the same today? There is no chance of any improvement in the weather that will make pitches thaw out by mid day tomorrow and making people wait until tomorrow mid morning to make possible alternate work arrangements to catch up on lost time this week seems daft. Even if pitches are ok to play on who will travel to watch and how many accidents will away teams have to contend with? Surely all games in this league and below should be postponed today out of pure common sense. Well said that man! :clapper:

Lee_
Millbrook v newquay is on !!!!! What are the roads like around there? From what I recall there were some smaller roads on the journey to Millbrook last season, hopefully they will have been gritted.

Dave Deacon
main routes Has Millbrook moved? And as at 6.25pm on the SWPL's postponement sub-forum, the only games still on at the moment are those at Millbrook in West and at Newton Spurs in the East. All others already off! As it states though, these two should not be regarded as being definately on. Any final decision as to them going ahead will have to be made in the morning before the away team travels. Guest Peppermint
The Millbrook v Newquay match is now OFF - thanks to Millbrook for their common sense decision which makes the ned to travel for players ans supporters unnecessary. I am sure whenever the game is played a good crowd of Newquay fans will make the trip to a ground that has always been a very friendly and welcoming venue. Once again many thnks to Millbrook - lets hope for better weather for next weekend and a ful fixture list and games played on good surfaces free from frost. Dave Deacon
As somehow expected it didn't take too long this morning for the remaining two games to be called off. No football in the SWPL at all today!

Mr Cornwall
same old dane tapping players up and when someone finds out he denies it all. look at dan matcham was trying to be tapped up by you now going for inter milan. one massive step. i wonder if you've given mr mourinho a call yet. haha
Dave Deacon
Let's be fair the 7 day notice of approach requirement is the most ineffective law the CCFA has! There's no way anyone can ever really police it and prove anything, and I bet every manager does it at some stage during a season. Some just more blatantly than other perhaps! :D
