Tony Posted February 26, 2010 Report Share Posted February 26, 2010 I think the last time St.Austell played Perranwell was in the mid 80s. Gerry Short was manager and Town went top of the league the week before (Terry Journeaux being red hot that season for the Lillywhites). We lost 2-1 in the senior Cup at Perranwell on a sloping pitch (I assume they still play there?) and drowned our sorrows back at the cricket club after if memory serves right.
