Alfonso
Buckland 2 Falmouth 2 Falmouth 2 nil up after 90 mins 2 very late goals sent the players and supporters wild at Homers to night Antony Lynch with a header and Danny Lewis in the last minute. Falmouth had about 5 booked in the last minute complaining about something, and Flynn getting his marching orders as well. Bodmin won 8 0 tonight therefore they need to win on sat, at Witheridge and if Buckland win at Holsworthy Bodmin need to score 6 more goals than Buckland. Guest Uncle Albert
Bodmin Town 8 Bovey Tracey 0. Half-time 3-0. Scorers: Sam Matthews (3), Steve Colwell (2), Ben Smallridge, Luke Hodge, Steve Ovens. Bodmin turned on the style in the second half, and it was good to see Steve Ovens back in action after 18 months out of action. He scored within seven minutes of coming on as a second half sub. The game at Priory Park finished 20 minutes before the one at Buckland, so it was a tense wait for the other result. Great disappointment when it finally came through via several mobile calls. Buckland's title now. They will slaughter Holsworthy on Saturday, while Bodmin will do well to win at Witheridge. More likely they will draw, in view of the disappointment of tonight. Jeff's Telling
SWPL Division 1 West Callington Town 0 - 0 Perranporth As a neutral observer,a really good game of football, and a fair result, but a disappointing level of backchat and questioning of decisions by the Perran team, plus abusive language from two or three of their players...remember the Respect campaign guys ! Oddly the referee didn't book anyone for dissent !!
The Elder
Cant see either bodmin or buckland dropping points come saturday and with buckland playing Holsworthy, and Bodmin at withy, can only see more goals at holsworthy so cant see Bodmin making up a 6 goal deficit! Well done Buckland nice to see a club actually looking to win the league and move p and challenge themselves! :smiley20:
