Hi Baylo, are the nerves getting the better of you?!!

Some excellent predictions esp ourselves!! BUT THIS IS NOT THE PREDICTION THREAD!

Could be after all Wednesday nights excitement, your still coming "down" from the adrenalin rush of last two minutes and affecting your eyes??!!

Actually gives me chance to publicly say just what a magnificent Job you have done Phil in not only building a side to (Hopefully) win the double, but create a fantastic and unique team spirit, While encouraging the players to not only be proud of playing for Buckland Athletic, But insisting they play the game in the right spirit both on and off the pitch.

Look forward to seeing you tomorrow, and get some sleep if you can, it will be a long and slow trip back from Holsworthy!!

Regards

Mass

Tavi 1v2 Falmouth.

Great result for St Blazey as this means weve finished 4th and Glynn and the team can enjoy the final game and hopefully put on a good performance to end the season. Glynns first season sees St Blazey finish in a prize money position. Excellent achievement. Roll on next season. :yahoo:

sorry about the prediction thing but i am a bit of a virgin on this forum and your right,it's the excitement of it all. Obviously suffering from the jitters a little because our score on the prediction bit above, should have read

1-0 !!!

Thanks for the kind words. BAFC has been a long time in the making. Getting the right players , and making sure they have the right attitude. Normally a side doing well, are usually languashing in the fair play league. It's called player responsibility !!

Should we get the necessary points and goals today, can you please add your name to your list of good week bad week on the mutterings !!!

Dave, SWPL East still has one fixture to play. Also, I didn't think St Austell's promotion had been confirmed yet.

Sorry! Thanks for that Dan. I've amended the post. However, left the reference to St Austell going up - it's more or less agreed. And in any case, I don't think it would do the league's credibility any good if someone didn't go up! :clapper:

Dobwalls 4 Godolphin 2

A good competitive game to finish off the season. Both sides played some quality football and there were some quality goals scored.

Things got a bit heated between the rival supporters and the banter was quite entertaining.

It was a shame that the visitors couldn't have come back for a drink and the food that was prepared for both of the teams but nobody was surprised that they didn't.
