Nemesis
newquay 1-3 camelford, camelford scorers paul menhinick 2, mark gusterson 1, well done boys, great result, bin bored at work today but this has put big smile on my face Newquay 1 v 3 Camelford (1-0 ht - att 78 inc 6 from Camelford) Same ol' Newquay, absolute perfection in the first 45mins, absolute horror in the 2nd half. 3 goals gifted to Camelford. Ref dishing out yellows on both sides for no reason, Newquay supporters joking when Robbo went on as a sub, that they ref may as well take his name now to save time, we wern't wrong. The best sub of the day would have seen the ref going off and someone who understands the game come on. Fines for both clubs which no doubt will boost the champagne list at the CCFA Xmas party, the ref will be on the top table ! Apparently, he his Cornwalls top official, prog names him as Malcolm West. Only positive for Newquay, is that there will be no more bookings/red cards or injuries in this comp to count against them in the SWPL. Well done to Camelford for taking advantage of the obvious Newquay frailties, perhaps they read Jims programme notes that gave them plenty of clues. mikesrep
Tavistock 0 - 3 Liskeard Knight, Kanakh 2. Fine preformance from the blues against what appears a Tavistock side struggling to find their form. Good work on the right wing by Jason King who's driven cross was turned in by Demo on the half hour. Ten minutes later Demo rose to head home Shane Jewell's neat cross following some wing wizardry which turned Tavi's full back inside out! Joe Knight complrted the scoring mid way through the second half. Tavi caused a scare late on, but the dominance of Lewis Russell at centre back kept the Tavi strike force fairly quiet all afternoon
Chris Davey
Probus 3 Callington Town 6 aet We were 0-2 down at half-time after a poor first half performance, with Callington scoring from 2 headers by Ryan Lucassi, from Matt Green crosses. We started after half-time much better and Paul Cox scored in the first minute to make it 1-2 and then Callington replied after 5 minutes and the game looked to be slipping away again. However, we kept working and never let our heads drop and substitute Dan Vincent scored twice to make it 3-3. At that stage it looked like we were the more likely to score again and Callington's keeper pulled off 3 blinding saves to keep the scores level. The end of normal time disrupted us and Callington started the stronger and scored with a good volleyed goal by Lucassi, in the last minute of the half, for his hat-trick. Callington scored twice more in the second period and will be happy to have got the win. The players for Probus gave their all and cannot be faulted for their workrate and the quality at times was very good, against higher league opposition. Overall we gave a good account of ourselves and are very heppy to have been invited into the competition for the first time.

Alfonso
SWPL Premier: Wadebridge Town v Buckland Athletic Wadebridge 0 Buckland 6 Buckland took an early 2 minute lead when booth scored when the keeper came out and misjudged a ball which came into the box. Moseley and Lynch scored 2 goals in 2 minutes on 17 and 18 minutes. Moseley got one more before half time. Wadebridge came out stronger in the second half, but this only lasted until the 56 minute when D Lewis was brought down in the box, upstepped the gaffer and send the keeper the wrong way from the spot to make it 5 0. Moseley completed his hatrick in the 73 minute. Buckland brought on 2 subs on 53 and 58 minutes and both had good run outs especially Burgess, who had stepped up from the ressies. The ref brought an end to preceedings to send the 3pts back to Newton Abbot. and send about 20 visiting fans home happy, in an attendance of about 60. Thought the ref had an excellent game. also i think its going to be a long hard season for the reds,a lot of young players but need some older heads to turn things around.give them credit they never gave up and kept going until the final whistle. The Red Viking
Falmouth 1 Torpoint 1 Not the best of first halfs, but at least the sun was shining at Bickland, but Torpoint were on top and had a few chances with Falmouth's replacement 47 year old keeper (Chapman was ill)making one good save. However by the end of the first half Falmouth were starting to make it an even contest, and it was all square at half time. Falmouth hit the bar from a Pope header and the second half came to life when Eddy put Drummond through who finished well, Falmouth had a shout for a pen when Drummond was in a collision with he keeper, but the ref decided no pen. However as soon as Falmouth went into the lead , a clearance from jamie Dirane in the Falmouth defence deflected to an on coming Torpoint player who put it away. Dirane had been great in the Falmouth defence and looked after Carter quite well. Falmouth though in the last twenty started to get going and at last started to pass to Dan Green who started to look good on the Falmouth right and he should have scored from close in however the angle was very acute, and the chance went begging. Falmouth were missing Ludlam yet again, and Flynn, and it was pity Nigel Thwaites wasnt given his 200th appearance, it was Greens 50th appearance . Overall a fair result. Torpoint are a decent team , and will be there abouts at the end of the season, Falmouth still need a couple of players to give them the depth to compete Officials did well today in control and kept up with play. Funny enough bit like Mullions! The clubhouse is by the car park side, we have the trees too. Unfortunately our stand blew down last year so not quite up to the standard of Blaize park!! On a serious note, our game is cancelled due to waterlogged pitch. Gutted
Fingers R Us
Falmouth Town (0)1-1(0) Torpoint Athletic -the real repot - stats don't lie. I was in the Torpoint dugout yesterday at Bickland Park - the young lad doing the stats for the Torpoint programme. In the first half Torpoint started the better team, with Adam Carer, Josh Grant and Darren Hicks all going close to score, we had two yellow cards against us, Matt David in the 27th minute and Billy Allen in the 41st minute, both were good tackles and the players (Matt David and Bily Allen) both got the ball so I think the referee's decison was an interesting one. The second half had more chances go begging for Torpoint, and Falmouth decide to wake up! Falmouth scored first in the 72nd minute when Matt Drummond scored after Liam Eddy put him through, after getting a very lucky ball from Torpoint's Shane White. The Torpoint massive made it 1-1 a minute later when Josh Grant got the ball after it rebounded off the post for him to blast the ball home. Both sides had good chances to score to get the winner but Torpoint just egded the match overall, we got a point here this weekend where other teams have failed. The Python
fingers R Us your stats astound me the Falmouth supporters walked. away after the game in disbelieve at the final score as our back line was'nt troubled at all in the second half apart from the deflected clearance that landed in front of your striker. The mid field was also dominated by Falmouth, just a shame the front players were'nt firing on all cylinders, but well done to Torpoint for hanging on and getting a result which i'm sure they were more than happy to walk away with.LAUNCESTON next week hopefully Alan will have all his players back to choose from. The Gooner
Dobwalls 2 Oakhampton 0 This was a lively game between two youthful sides. Dobwalls played probably their best football of the season in the first half and created numerous chances. Jack Alexander caused all sorts of problems with his pace and it was him that opened the scoring when he forced the keeper into making an error in a 50/50 challenge. Alexander picked himself up to shot into the open net. An Andy frost 30 yard plus effort found the bottom corner to give the hosts a cushion at the break. The second half was a more scrappy affair and very few clear cut chances were created. Jack Alexander did have the ball in the net but just as he shot he was taken out by the advancing keeper, the referee blew his whistle for the penalty and only issued a yellow card for the keeper which seemed odd to both sets off supporters. Sean Jones stepped up and blasted the penalty out of the ground. Dobwalls were delighted with the result which keeps them near the top of the table. Apart from the penalty fiasco the referee had a very good game.
