Martin McHugh
Liskeard Athletic Football Club have appointed Darren Edwards as first team manager and Carl Curtis as his assistant. They will take over from Wednesday 10th November. The club would like to thank Richard Cameron for holding the fort until the appointment was made. Brianmooreshead
Well, let's hope these two stick it out for a decent length of time. The situation at liskeard is becoming a bit of a joke !

Fingers R Us
What! Carl Curtis has left a high class side at Torpoint! To go to a Liskeard side who will be in a relagation Dog Fight at the of the season, is he mad!!!!

redex
Is it true the first thing the new management team have done is tell the only local player in the squad he is not needed ?
quiksilver
im sure that liskeard have 3-4 local lads in their first team? What does it matter where players live? How many of Bodmin, Buckland, Saltash, St Blazey team etc live in the town where they play football, think only plymouth parkway are only team of 'local lads' in the premier division. Night Hawk
For some unknown reason that's what people who live in the area want, if there not good enough they shouldn't play, clearly the only local players in the side are not good enough
redex
If the rumours are true Liskeard havnt got a big budget,And bearing in mind Were Liskeard have ended up the last few years, Surely local players would make more sence,Because results show the bunch they have got right now, regargless of how much they are being paid, are going to be in a dog fight at the bottom.
