Dave Deacon
FA Vase and Cornish clubs always means something special not only to me, but no doubt to a lot of people in the county and so all the best to Torpoint in their latest Vase match against Billingham. It always use to mean a lot to BBC Radio Cornwall as well and for a moment this morning I got all excited when I read that they were splitting the programme tomorrow and having commentaries on both FM and Medium Wave. The Vase always brought the best out of Radio Cornwall and I was assuming they were going to cover the match at The Mill. However, my excitement and belief in the Beeb was short-lived. MW is full uninterrupted coverage of the Cornish All Blacks and on FM Redruth v Ottley. Not even the Pirates! A false dawn!!!!
TMS TIGER
Guess that just about sums up Radio Cornwall's priorities - Rugby first, rugby second , Truro City third , the rest ??? As somebody who was there at Wembley in 2007 , best wishes to Torpoint - keep the Cornish flag flying !!
