Mike Odgers
Bovey Tracey will be making only their second visit to Bickland Park tomorrow (Sat.12th.Feb) in the SWPL Premier. Having lost to a record (7-0)defeat at Bickland last season the 'Moorlanders'also conceded a 12-0 double and a 4-2 Town win at Mill Marsh Park earlier in the season sees Bovey looking for their first point against Falmouth. Goal machine Matt Drummond has netted on his last 6 outings for Falmouth and apart from a blank when coming on as sub v St.Dennis in the CS Cup he would have equalled the club record of consecutive match scoring. (He scored in the previous 4 games) The record is held by Phil Shapcott who in season 1985-86 scored 20 goals in 11 consecutive games. Matt is also homing in on the '50 Goal Club' and is currently on 45 Falmouth club goals.
The Red Viking
Its a game Falmouth should win, but dont take Bovey lightly... otherwise there may be an upset and Falmouth need to win , and keep winning in the league to put any pressure on the top four and hope they come back to them over the coming weeks. looking forward to good game, and hope the sun shines and a decent crowd turns up.
