Mr Cornwall
Will the Buckland game still go ahead. Torquay have a home game against Rotherham United tomorrow night and to then play Buckland may be a too much, unless Paul Buckle sends a less than full strength side as Buckland will be tough opposition for them? Guest Rydon Ranger
Will the Buckland game still go ahead. I don't know of one Devon pro club that puts out a full strength team in the Devon Bowl, and to be honest glad that they don't because it would not give any of the non-league teams a chance. They all seem to put a mixture of youth, reserve and odd splattering of first teamers who are recovering from injury or out of form. Lets just hope for a decent game and a good crowd eh. :drink:
Argyle Fan
Saw the game between Tavistock and Torquay in the previous round. Tavi held them first half but Torquay ran riot second half & won 6-1. Torquay's second string are a decent side and it should be a good contest. hills19
Cullumpton are picking up points at the moment to help them in their quest to stay up but with teams below them having games in hand it is too early to say they have done enough. I think Cully will be OK now. I also think Wadebridge have a bit of fight left in them, and with Darts gettin a great result last week, it's anybody's guess who will be for the drop. The Villains
Marines 1 - Dartmouth 5 was an unexpected result. Smacks of one East Devon club trying to help another avoid relegation! I can assure you that the Royal Marines team would NEVER r NEVER let another team win. Unless you have proof of your outragous statement, it would only be right for you to issue an apology to the Royal Marines team for such a stupid comment and a well done to Dartmouth. So Everton did Reading a favour by letting them win as well!! Didn't think so. Football its a funny old game.
