St.Austell 1 Falmouth Town 2.

St.Austell will be disappointed to drop all three points in a highly entertaining game at sunny Poltair.

Another large crowd saw the home side fail to the take chances on offer, particulary in the first half.

However Falmouth took theirs to go two up. Will Tinsley pulled a goal back but try as they might Falmouth kept them at bay.

Most spectators left the ground thinking that a draw would have been the fairest result. And the man in the middle, George Pattison, had another spendid game. If there is a better referee in the County then i've not seen him. :c:

Bodmin Town 4 Ivybridge Town 3

Bodmin were 4 - 0 up before Ivybridge fought back to score 3 goals, thru Joe Truelove, Sam Stevens and Dennis Mason(Pen).

Player manager for Ivybridge and Goalkeeper for Bodmin sent off.

traight red for Miller or was it 2nd yellow? suspension could be costly!

Straight red I think, as he brought down the striker for Ivybridge pen.

Camelford 1 vs 0 Plymstock

Draw would've been a fair result. Camelford backline performed as their GA indicates and made it hard to create any chances. 2 very big penalty shouts last minute for us turned down.

Just a side note, would i be on my own feeling that it should be compulsory at div 1 and above level that a qualified referee should be running the line, or at least a QUALIFIED representitive of the club?

Isn't this in place already? Though clubs were fined if they did not provide a qualified referee or a person who has passed the assistant referee's course.

Before this goes any further all our assistant referee's are either qualified referee's or have passed the assistant referee's course held by the SWPL.

spot on David-St.Austell probably had more and better chances but two late Falmouth opportunities would have been flattering. And a corner count of 10-4 also in St.Austell's favour.

Falmouth will gladly take it as they were 'pick pocketed' at the Marines two weeks ago.

Although interesting the game was played with a lot of long ball and crosses into the box as ball control was difficult on the firm surface.

I may be biased but the veteran Sean Flynn was a colossus in the face of the home strikeforce.

Only one booking throughout in a keenly contested game down to the the player/referee George P' who must be close becoming the County No.1

Eleven of the LillyWhites No's 1 to 12 with the exception of Will Tinsley(11) have all previously worn the Black and Amber of Falmouth.

Just for good measure Assistant Manager Andy Parr made over 200 Appearances for Falmouth.

It was a pleasure to return to the revamped Poltair Park again Look forward to seeing a match when the new floodlights are up and running

Miller to miss Senior Cup final

I am not sure why Kevin Miller was sent off, but I would anticipate an appeal, which could delay any ban, possibly until after the Senior Cup Final, although he could possibly miss a crucial SWPL game/s in the title run-in. Just a thought...

Foul on the Ivybridge striker as far as I know......... Was the game being recorded, as evidence in the keepers favour, otherwise it stays with the refs call? If he does appeal and its upheld, could the ban be extended?

Blimey O'Riley no wonder Nemesis has gone so quiet of late. Godolphin 3rd Newquay 8th, i bet the poor chap is suffering some sleepless nights looking at that league table. Who would ever have believed that Godolphin could possibly take over as the top club in Newquay.

why are Newquay having a very poor season?

Video evidance is required if you wish to appeal against a Red Card, suspension kicks in 21 days from the date of the game that the offence took place.
