DanBlazey
Will you be at the Blazey game Dan? Looking forward to seeing your away support. It's not looking good today, mate. I'm working away in London. Paul's away today as are a few of the others. Disappointed to miss this mid-table "six-pointer"!

pastyman
Saltash United 4 St Blazey 2 The "ashes" have done the double over Blazey this season, after todays win. The blazey defence seemed in total disarray for the first "ashes" goal. The Blazey goalkeeper and the defence do not seem to communicate, hence a embarrasing mess. More of the same for the remainder of the season please "ashes".

Michael Rabone
Camelford 2 - 2 Godolphin Honours were even this afternoon at Trefrew Park as second place Camelford hosted Godolphin. After a fairly open start to the game, Shaun Semmens' long clearance was not dealt with by the Camelford defence and Godolphin were fortunate to open the scoring when the ball struck Lee Paxton and fell into the path of Phil Lowry who bundled the ball home with the Camelford 'keeper stranded. Within a matter of minutes Camelford were level after Godolphin failed to clear; with the loose ball bouncing in the box, shouts for handball were ignored by referee Knowles as Camelford struck level from six yards. Camelford put further pressure on the Godolphin defence and edged ahead on the twenty minute mark when Marc Gusterson ended a fine move with a clinical finish. Godolphin rallied and Paxton looked like a continued threat with Camelford struggling to deal with Godolphin's direct approach; when Paxton nipped in front of his marker in the box and was felled, all eyes were on Knowles as he awarded a free-kick to the home side. Paxton was not to be denied moments later as he calmly collected a neat through ball from Phil Lowry who had been picked out by the impressive Ollie Pinnell. Paxton confidently dispatched a neat finish to restore parity with just half an hour on the clock. Godolphin continued to pressure Camelford until the end of the first half without creating a clear opening and had Semmens to thank for an excellent reflex save to deny Gusterson from putting Camelford ahead in the 50th minute of the first half. The second half was a much more timid affair; Godolphin had the share of possession and despite creating opportunities to win this vital top of the table game, Camelford could have edged ahead late on when no fewer than three long-range strikes whistled wide of Semmens' goal. Derek Martin made his attacking intent clear on the hour mark, brining Josh Harris and Jamie Wigg into the equation; Wigg almost had an immediate impact with two consecutive crosses that Camelford scrambled clear. With Kyle Brown driving Godolphin forward in an impressive second half display, Phil Lowry almost carved out what would have been a match winning goal, twisting and turning on the left only to see his goalbound shot smothered by the Camelford goalkeeper. Although quiet during the second half, Gusterson showed two sides to his game with a long-range volley that flew inches wide and collected a late booking after a poor challenge on Pinnell with five minutes remaining. Camelford appeared content with a point that will certainly suit the North Cornwall side as the season draws to a conclusion. Godolphin have a clear understanding of what is required next week in the reverse fixture and Callington have worked their way into contention with a fantastic 5-2 victory at home to Penryn. The conclusion to the season will certainly be an interesting one with Godolphin still to play local rivals Newquay twice; Camelford also await difficult encounters with Vospers Oak Villa, Godolphin and the replayed tie against Callington Town on the final day of the season.
