Mandy K Aggiemaid
Thank you to everyone who supported the 1st fixture in the Brian Biggin Memorial Tournament St Agnes Combo V Newquay SWPL - 0-0 at half time 3-0 to Newquay at full time! A good game to watch and well supported from both sides - approx 100 watching and it was great to see Sandra at Enys Parc on Friday too. Total raised so far for Help for Heroes £260. We had planned a mini Auction following the fixture - but Newquay were incredibly thorough in their warm-down so by the time they reached the bar others had left! So rather than Auction to half a room and let 'lots' go too cheaply we have postponed it and will do it for Help For Heroes at another point - maybe even on Tuesday if there are bodies in the bar at the same time! Our next fixture in the BBMT is V Wadebridge at Enys Parc on Tuesday 9th at 6.45pm KO - all proceeds from gate (£3/£1.50) and raffle will be donated to Help For Heroes in memory of Brian. St Agnes AFC hope to have raised £500 for Help For Heroes over our two home fixtures so please come along and support if you can! Refreshments will be available from out Tea-Hut and the Bar will be open. Mandy
