Aberfalman
The West Briton confirms that Falmouth Town will be missing their two main strikers for the Bodmin tie, Ian Hodges being suspended and Matt Drummond 'unavailable due to other commitments'. There was no mention of Craig Duff though. He went off with what looked like a hamstring injury at Lux Park on Tuesday night. Maybe no news is good news and he'll be OK. Wouldn't mind another 0-0. :)
Mike Odgers
This will be Falmouth's 46th Challenge of the F A Cup which all began 1n 1962-63 season Bodmin and Falmouth have never met in the F A Cup but in two previous F A competitions Falmouth have triumphed 1972-73 F A Trophy Bodmin Town 1 Falmouth Town 4 1999-00 F.A.Vase Falmouth Town 2 Bodmin Town 1 It looks like a backs to the wall game for Falmouth on Saturday
Aberfalman
Bodmin Town 6 Falmouth Town 3. A combination of suicidal defending and some good football/finishing...we were horsed.
Rick Mathews
Wasn't expecting that !!! Town will just have to win the Vase now ;-)
Aberfalman
I think we might have to change the 'give the opposition two goals in the first five minutes of each half' strategy to do that. ;)
Mike Odgers
A disappointing performance and result Toothless defending-I thought with our three front men out, the defence would have been more resolute and focussed but with two goals within 7 minutes of the first half and two within 4 minutes of the second it became a suicidal scenerio. Perhaps a compact midfield to stifle the game would have helped but as it was Bodmin broke through at will and missing some clear cut openings on the way. It wasn't all one way as the scoreline suggested as Falmouth probed forward but without the final finesse and credit must be given for not dropping their heads with two late goals facing a forlorn task. would you believe Falmouth won the corner count 6-3 This was Falmouth's 120th, F A Cup tie and only one other club has scored more than 5 Also First time in 107 League/Cup matches betweeen the clubs that Bodmin have scored 6 or more v Falmouth Scorers 1-0 Smallridge 3m 2-0 Carter Pen 7m 2-1 Vercesi 13m 3-1 Luxton 29m 4-1 Carter (H) 47m 5-1 Brokenshire 49m 6-1 Bartlett 73m 6-2 Green 82m 6-3 Hollands 87m Bodmin-K.Miller-H.Morgan-L.Reed-T.Chambers-S.Simmonds©-C.Swiggs-B.Smallridge-O.Brokenshire(D.Gilbert 80)-A,Carter-C.Luxton(L.Hodge 73m)-L.Rundle(J.Bartlett 44m) Falmouth-J.Chapman-J.Sims-J.Devine-S.Chitty-L.Rundle-R.Pope(T.Barwell 58m)-K.Turner-D.Green J.Miller(J.Lugg71m)-S.Winnan(M.Hollans 65m)-M.Vercesi Est Attendance a poor 85 Referee Simon Robbins-Callington Bookings Vercesi-Barwell and maybe Sims-Gilbert Good luck to Bodmin in the next Round Away to WL Barnstaple Town The winners of that tie will be Away to St.Blazey or Tavistock
Pablo
totally unbiased in defeat, mike. ' toothless defending' - so, no defenders bit anyone! talk about gibberish! 'toothless' is most commonly used in context with attackers mate ..... rarely defenders. as for the attendance: probably totally unexagerrated. since when did bt fc have a less or more than a half decent attendance? for JC's sake; say what you see! hammers
Very disappointing result for Falmouth Although I feared it would be a win for Bodmin with Falmouth having 3 front me out,I am sure that Falmouth will be a different side in League matches hopefully with a full strength playing, Hammers :c:

'toothless' is most commonly used in context with attackers mate ..... rarely defenders. It's nonsense to describe uncommon use as gibberish. It was a reasonable description I thought. ...since when did bt fc have a less or more than a half decent attendance? Now that's what you call gibberish.
