A great effort from St Blazey. Bodmin had to work hard for their win. In the end their quality won the 3 points but St Blazey gave it a right go. St Blazey 1 up after 3 minutes. Bodmin made it 1-1 and then took the lead. St Blazey hit back straight away with a penalty to make 2-2 at half time. Two turning points in the second half, a freekick for very little that Bodmin took quickly and scored with a header. The next turning point was a good run down the right which was crossed to Ollie Deadman whos first touch wasnt great when completly unmarked and a good first touch would have surly have made it 3-3. Sadly for us, Bodmin then took control and scored some good goals to finish St Blazey off.

St Blazey must take that performance into their F.A cup match on saturday at home to Tavistock.

Keep it going St Blazey, long way to go yet.

Ollie Gibson mate, not Deadman.

I think we'll need to up our game a bit if we've got a chance against Tavi.

Nice to see us match a quality Bodmin side for the first 45 mins. Shame we couldn't maintain the level.

Blazey goals: Gibson and Matcham.

Crowd looked around 160 with about a third of that travelling up Penpillick Hill to support the greeens.
