Can't see perran going on much longer, all their results will then be void, hope they turn it around though.

To be fair to the Perran lads, they all played their hearts out, never gave up and were soundly cheered by the home support when they scored their penalty. Speaking with some of their folk, the hope to carry on as long as they can but they need players, just a bare 11 turned up.

Great result for Liskeard tonight who thoroughly deserved their win which sends them above former manager Leigh Cooper's Launceston and to the top of the table. Although held 0-0 at half time the Blues were always in control with second half goals from Sam Cooper (2) and Ryan Richards securing the three points. Man of the match in my opinion was the hard working, tough tackling, ball winning mid fielder Dean Smith who chased and won everything. Great Summer signing by Eddy!

hoppit, thanks for your concern but we are going no where, yes we had the bare 11 but at 5pm we only had 7 !!! I had 11 players cry off since sunday and rung every player we have signed on but to no avail. So 10 youngsters average age of 19 and me (46) went out and made newquay work for everyone of their goals and created 4 or 5 chances of our own including the penalty. We were given the run around but to their credit not one of them players moaned or slagged off any of their teammates there was encouragement from the first to last minute. I hope our lads contributed to the entertainment and if robbo and westy had brought their scoring boots it could have been a lot worse, but before kick off i would have settled for that score, you cant expect players to step up four leagues and not get a good hammering. so i take my hat off to all of them it would have been very easy for them to have cried off as well.

Sods law i have 19 players available for this saturdays game.

Thanks to newquay for their hospitality and a lovely curry afterwards.
