Perranporth are at home v Newquay on Sat 31st Dec 2.00pm.

SWPL D1W Champions just 18mths ago, the Blues have fallen on hard times. I urged Newquay supporters in the Boxing Day programme to get down to Ponsmere and a) support their side, turn up and help boost the bar and gate takings of our near neighbours and of course c) watch the Peppemints win.

Those who are left at Perranporth know mistakes were made previously and are determined to sort things out. We need clubs like Perranporth to continue. John Mitchell and others have done a fantastic job in keeping the club alive this season. If your game gets called off or you have nothing better to do, go and give a few quid to Perranporth, they more than anyone will appreciate it.

Hope to see you down there Mark, I'm going along to watch even though my lad can't play as he's got to work. I'm hoping Perran can give you a good game and not the easy win you seem to be assuming you'll get ;)

You would have to ask the players. However, the little that may be left after petrol probably wouldn't get a cup of tea.
