motherwontletmegoargyle
You have a fantastic knowledge of your teams history. Can you tell me please when was the last home league game your team failed to score in and when was the last time you failed to score both home and away in the same season against the same opponents thanks. Mike Odgers
Good question Sir! It was at the end of Season 2008-09 that Falmouth last failed to score in a league game at Bickland Park when Elburton Villa won 1-0. They were one of 6 clubs to do so that season including Saltash who won 2-0 and also completed the double with a 3-0 win at Kimberley Saltash were worthy winners at Bickland Park yesterday especially the first half when they out played Falmouth with plenty of width and pace from their "wingers" who were well supported by the more dominant midfield. No arguments with the result 6 days seems a long time in football Pleased with the attendance tho' around

mikesrep
Couldn't believe the result while I drove home from Lux Park. Watched Falmouth totally dominate Saltash last Monday and I didn't give the Ashes a 'cat in hells' chance yesterday! That's football for you!! Yeah it's like Back of the net said in the other thread...it happens all the time when two sides meet in quick succession. BTW...I thought this thread was about Falmouth stats? ;)
