cornishteddyboy
Looking at these photos of the Helston v Godolphin match yesterday, what is the rule regarding tops. Both sides are wearing blue shirts. Never seen that before. http://www.cornwall-photos.com/cat/13869/helston-v-godolphin-atlantic
bighairydave
Law 4- Players equipment states that: The two teams must wear colours that distinguish them from each other and also the referee and the assistant referees. So if the referee and to a certain extent the two teams are happy with the colours I cannot see any problems with those two shirt colours.
B Manning
CTB I have just looked at those pictures and I would have had no problem at all with those colours.
BAGMAN
By the end of the game both sides appeared to be playing in brown anyway!!
skyblueref
I don't think any ref would have a problem with the shirt colours, especially as the shorts and more importantly socks were different colours.

Magic Mike
I don't see the prob with it, Shirts don't clash neither do the shorts Well at least at the beginning of the game they didn't!
Guest Monty
No problems with the clash of colours even when they did get a bit muddy, Its upto the referee on the day and if he/she is happy then so be it. As for Refsrus saying "In looking at some of pictures I think the colours did clash some thought should of gone into a change". No wonder they think us men in black are all blind with comments like that?

THE BALD ONE
Why ask for an opinion if you do not want to accept it Surely it is not about opinions ????? Rules are rules ?

No doubt one of the referees will be along shortly to remind us that we have Laws not Rules.
CharlesYoung
I think it was very obvious who was wearing what. And I think people are over exagerating on the mud issue, think the pitch was alright and it was the right choice to play it. Very well ref'd by Kevin Knowles and I dont think dark blue and light blue could be easily mixed up. The only useful thing that has come out of this topic is the pictures. B Manning
Charles, I think the reference to the mud issue was tongue in cheek.
Guest Monty
My opinion is based on a photo taken from a distance downloaded onto a computer then viewed on an I phone knowing the ref well I'm sure he had no problems Why Bring it up? Seems pretty irrelevant.
