Liskeard 3 Parkway 0

( Parkway finish with 9 men . Marc Bonney and Sam Chitty sent off )

Good win for Liskeard . Third time i've seen them this season and have been impressed each time .

They appear well organised and pacey with a good game plan . The first two goals had big questions against them for offside , but Liskeard were worthy winners .

Not they hard to work too hard for a win against a Parkway side that were totally flat ,disharmonious ,tactically bereft and prone to comedy lapses of defending right from the off from players that appear to have mentally clocked out for the season. During the entire 90 minutes we produced a grand total of one effort on target .

If we put as much effort into playing football as we do arguing with each other and referee then we would be fine . As it is though the season seems to disppearing down the drain .

Shane Krac worked damned hard and tried to carry the side , as for the rest ( excepting Will Stringer who is still working his way back ) the least said the better .

Got to agree with most of your comments. Parkway hardly troubled Sam Borthwick in Liskeards goal. Didn't expect that after we were soundly beaten at Bolitho earlier in the season. Gotta give Liskeard credit for the effort they put in today and the way they contained Glyn Hobbs for much of the game Extra man in midfield stifled Parkway at times and their team spirit was clearly evident. Dean Smith capped an excellent all round performance with a cool finish for 3 nil. (See pic)

St Blazey, as a team, celebrating their welcome win this afternoon at Blaise Park against Torpoint

Blimey ! From this picture you would think that they had won the league, not just a match !

( Wistfully gazes at the sky , says to himself, " winning matches, I remember when Parkway used to do that .")

saltash 2 cully 4 Come on then Pastyman and Timmy Raa whats your views on yesterdays game ? Or do we only sing when we're winning ? :angry2:

Being very honest here MATTELOT, what started as a "good day at the office", turned into a very bad day.

We started the game well and had the game in our own hands, but "threw" it away. We looked like we were going to give "Cully" a "thumping", but mistakes in defence certainly changed the game.

So MATTELOT, not "singing" this morning, but a bit "cheesed off".

Honesty, sometimes get me into trouble on here, but as far as next weeks game is concerned, let me think. Kev hendy and Stuart Dudley will have a game plan, "wounds will be licked" and "the ashes" in the semis.

We will see Saturday then won't we pastyman. U seem pretty sure tht the ashes will beat us :S

Well I am pretty confident of a Saltash United win on Saturday. Falmouth have lost the services of two quality players in Shan White and Darren Hicks. Also, lets face it, in Alan Carey's eyes, nothing goes his teams way, so yes, a win for "the ashes".

Of course your mate Darren Hicks, who left Falmouth because he couldn't get into the team, and what a difference he has made to Saltash since returning.
