Elburton Villa 3 Falmouth 1

Quite a good game, Falmouth down to 10 men for a straight yellow for dissent against referee. Villa took lead, Falmouth equalised just before half time. Villa took control in the 2nd half. Falmouth keeper pulled a couple of quality save to keep the score down. For an end of season game, it was one of the better ones I have seen in recent seasons

Camelford 3 0 Liskeard

A comfortable win for the Camels who were stronger in every department. A superb hat-trick from Kev Murt finished off a great season.Camels have punched well above their weight this year and with most of the team still in their early twenties the future looks bright. A little disappointed with Liskeard who seemed more interested in abusing the officials than playing football, which resulted in one of their players being sent off for abusive language, and furthermore not one player or official from Liskeard went back to the Conservative club afterwards where food had been laid on, very disappointing, just 10 minutes would have done.

Being at the game yesterday, I've never heard "fans" shout so much abuse at a team in my life. Liskeard Keeper was down with a head injury and the Camelford supporters were yelling, "get up you faking f-ing faggot" and it was the Liskeard skipper who intervened saying what the situation was but then tried to turn on him shouting abuse. The abuse started on the Liskeard right back first half, and left back second half.

So the real disappointment is the Camelford fans and I don't blame anyone from Liskeard for not going back after suffering that.

Perhaps it was for idealogical reasons ? I would not willingly go into a Conservative Club either . :D .

Shame to see Liskeard's decent season fizzle out in the last few weeks , good result for Parkway though as it guarantees that we keep up the record of never finishing outside the top six in the Peninsula Prem .

Still a faint glimmer of hope that third place can be reached as well .
