Nemesis Posted May 15, 2012 Report Share Posted May 15, 2012 The Clubs nickname of 'The Peppermints' was first mentioned in 1906 (16 years after the club was formed), it alluded to the Red & White striped shirts which resembled a boiled sweet of that time.
