MEX Posted May 16, 2012 Report Share Posted May 16, 2012 Rumour has it Slim, Tavy looking for new additions to their defence due to the poor defensive record of the last season. Every game Tavy went into, they needed to score at least 4 before half time! Great going forward with Pethick, Kelly and Hobbs. But shocking at the back. On the plus side, I thought Jimmy Keily did well when asked to play in a more defensive role like at St Austell. Reads the game well and had the pace to cover the other two centre halfs who at times were struggling to get near the pacy St Austell striker. Have caught a few tavy, elburton villa games as well. I must agree with u. Tavy r frightening going 4ward but there 2 slow @ the back. Defo need 2 strengthen there.
