Dobwalls Pre-Season

Dobwalls Football Club will start pre-season training next Tuesday, 26th June 2012.

First session will commence at 19:00 outside the entrance to Plymouth Life Centre, Central Park.

This is due to essential works down at Lantoom Park, Dobwalls over the next 2 weeks.

Then training will resume at Dobwalls Football ground from Tuesday 3rd July 2012. We will also be taking in a session or two over at Whitsand Bay in the coming weeks to add a bit of variety.

Paul & I have kept most of the squad together from last season but we would welcome players that want to challenge for places and silverware this season.

Ideally we need 3 or 4 experienced players that have either played Peninsula Prem and are looking to step down or have had success at East Cornwall Prem level and are looking to test themselves at the next standard.

It's our 3rd season at the Club and we are ready to really push on this season so if you feel you can contribute and make a telling contribution on the field then we'll be pleased to see you next Tuesday at 19:00 sharp.

We have pre-season friendlies arranged that include Plymouth Parkway & Torpoint 1st teams.

Having watched dobwalls a few times last year they look a very good time

In the making maybe a couple defenders and cm they will be challenging soon .. Have they got any potential signings lined up and what dates are the friendliest against torpoint and parkway as wouldn't mind watching them

Thanks for positive comments.

We play Torpoint on 28th July and Parkway on 4th August . . . . . both games being played at Dobwalls.

We would welcome your support - might need it against that sort of opposition!!

We've lost a couple players but we are confident the majority are staying for another shot at things. And yes many players have been contacted by Paul and myself over the last few weeks and several are coming training over the next few weeks. So hopefully we'll strengthen in the area's that you mention with 4 or 5 quality signings and then move on and up.

Due to some really bad weather across the County today we have had to cancel training down at Dobwalls this evening.

Also a bad traffic accident near Manadon meant traffic between Plymouth & Saltash at tea-time was horrendous.

Next session will be Thursday this week down at Dobwalls ground. 7 o'clock start.

New and old faces as always welcome.
