Good win for Parkway today on a pitch that cut up from the start of the game. We fell asleep for the first ten minutes and went 2 nil down. The lads kept going and deserved the win.It is nice to have 3 points again. Liskeard battled to the end and fought hard.

Not impressed with the pasty today, however the cider was good.

Bring on the next game.

Cornwall Charity Cup

Bude Town 2-3 Wadebridge Town AET

Good result for the Bridgers today, Liam Ames opened the scoring in the 1st minute (42 sec's to be exact)) to put the Bridgers 1 up, but Dave Youldon levelled with a free kick in the 54th minute to take the match into extra time. Dan Jennings scored twice in the first period (97mins & 102 Mins), with Dave Youldon's 2nd of the match from a penalty on 112 mins., finishing the scoring.

Newquay 1 Tavistock 2. Great result for Tavistock. Thank you Newquay for your hospiltality after the game. Great food and football on the screen after the game. Was there a Newquay players function on after the game? Only because after 20 mins arriving in the club house most of the Nerwquay players had left. We had a bit of banter with a few supporters in the club house, but on our way out, there was no players apart from one to say good by to!!

They all have to get back Falmouth - where they came from.

Witheridge 4-4 camelford

One hell of a game for any supporter as had it all. Hatricks missed penalties 3 disallowed goals and outstanding goals. Witheridge hadn't played since 8th December but it was all 9 weeks worth in one game. Only complaint is men in black were the worst I've seen in 20 or so years. No knowledge of the game or rules as couldn't get the basics right . Big thank you to camelford players though who all stayed long after the game and home players had gone. You got my vote for Budweiser !!

Newquay AFC (Shaun Middleton, 4) 1-2 Tavistock AFC (Johnny Wyatt 39 & 83)

Both sides gave their all in this encounter, maybe a draw would have been a fairer result, Tavistock's quality seemed to get them over the line in the end and that is why they sit so highly in the table. Was impressed by Tavi's Josh Robins who didn't seem to put a foot wrong & saw a lot of the team's play go through him. On another day their would have been more goals but, down to the excellent defending of both teams, it was kept down to three. Constant pressure & effort meant for a very entertaining encounter, all the best to Tavistock for the rest of the season.

Newquay AFC: Tom Blackler, Ollie Deadman (Dan Magee, 78), Jamie Devine, Elliott Simcox, Danny Brook, Matt David, Josh Sims, Shaun Middleton, Luke Weldhen, Dave Trott, Ashley Piggott (Jack Bray-Evans, 55). Sub not used: Luke Dumbill.

Tavistock AFC: Andy Meeds, Ben Davies, Josh Robins, Ryan Northmore (Lyle Johnson, 59), Jamie Ahearn, Sam Chitty, Joe Carey, Carlton Farnham (Sam Logan, 87), Ian Rooke (Ryan Moorhead, 70), Dave Hallett, Johnny Wyatt

Attendance: 110

Referee: James Strout
