Plymouth Parkway 2v1 St Blazey.

Well saturdays huge defeat was put to bed with a much improved performance and Saltash loosing. St Blazey had several new faces and a couple players back. Parkway had lots of the ball but their finishing was woeful. (somin in the Plymouth water cause Argyle are just the same) :D Painter in the Blazey goal earnt his corn with some cracking saves. 0-0 at HT. Parkway came out and scored a scrappy first goal and that looked to have won it before St Blazey walked through some half hearted tackles and the ball was massed to Ashley Piggett who unleased a cracking drive that left the Parkway keeper stood still and that looked to have nicked a point. But in the final minute Parkway broke down the left and the square bouncing ball across the box was smashed home in style. The title favourites had got away with it :(

Still, a massive fighting performance. Well done everyone. Bring on Tavistock on saturday. Big match, the F.A Cup is back. :)

Paul , fair summary. I thought the young Blazey lads did you proud last night ( not meaning to be patronising either ). The captain , who got injured after about 5 minutes , worked tiredlesly all game. The left winger who came on as sub ( who looked about 10 ) gave the Parkway defence nothing but problems. Could have been 5 or 6 to Parkway , but you have to put them between the sticks to make them count. I thought the Parkway formation looked very disjointed and some players seemed to be out of position on many occassions. At the end of the day 3 points and I will take that. Hope the big FA cup game against Saltash on Saturday brings a better performance. Keep your chin up Mr.Richards , on another day you would have bagged a hatrick. Great to see Levi Landricombe get on the score sheet. Well done lad.

Was that the famous Dan Blazey behind the goal last night ?

Cmon Parkway.

No, hes upppp north somewhere teaching languages to foreign students. Pleased with last nights effort. Really hoping we can play like that on saturday and sneak a result.

Your chaging rooms and bar area look very smart. Looks a nice ground now and well looked after.
