Robbo5
What a good game of football today witnessed by about 100 fans. Danny Brook of Torpoint given Man of the Match, probably rightly so. Godolphin just couldn't find opportunities like they had in their opening games with Torpoint doing well to stop Phil Lowry grom holding the ball up much or creating opportunities for his side. Manager Derick Martin was full of praise for Torpoint in that he was happy to take a point off them when in fact Torpoint felt like they lost the game as they could of won it by 3/4 goals had they taken their chances. Torpont Manager even commented that his side turned up with the right attitude and conceded sometimes you won't play well but still take your chances and thats how he felt except from my view Godolphin played better first half and Torpoint took the possessional play in thr second. Few too many 1v1s were Brooks or Young left with but didnt take them, Torpoint coming closest with goal line clearances and hitting the bar. A torpoint official even said that goal line trchnology should be introduced.
