Lafs
A decent start by Newquay considering an almost complete overhaul of squad. 14 goals from 4 games and youngsters Calum McOnie and Luke Haworth featuring too. The Newquay hate club have either been temporarily silenced or lost their internet connection over the last couple of weeks. Keep it up Newquay! Rocket Ronnie
Watched newquay for the 1st time this season last nite and was pleasently surprised. After the predicted mass player turnaround its always hard 2 get new players 2 gel quickly but they played some gud footy. The centre backs looked solid, the front 2 ran all nite, midsy worked hard in the middle alongside bray-evans who i thought was excellant. Haworth and trott looked gud and gibson probably wud of got mom without his 3 goals in my opinion. Thought the new floodlights were gr8 also. Gud 2 have 2 newquay based teams pushing for the top half of the table, hopefully!
Fool on the hill
Great win for Newquay and good to see a goal for Middsy after his red on Saturday (i got the ball though) and young Callum on the score sheet, one to watch for this season. Don't be so sensitive - there's no Newquay hate club.
Lafs
No sensitivity from me Goldeneye, I am not involved with Newquay. However I do follow this forum though and various threads over the last 2 seasons or so where people have targeted Newquay for all kinds of reasons. leedsunited
Banter it is!! No disrepect intended but all teams so far have beat liskeard & falmouth, interesting to see how fair against the so called 'bigger fixtures' that are on the arisen! Credit where its due, good start. I notice away to launceston friday...hard work out i'd imagen..
leedsunited
In saying that liskeard gave us a very hard workout last evening!
Goldeneye
where people have targeted Newquay for all kinds of reasons. All clubs have been 'targeted', as you call it at one time or another. Don't get paranoid about it.
Nemesis
Agree that the next two matches will provide a tough test for the Peppermints - Away on Fri 23rd v Launceston and then away to Bodmin on Weds 28th 7.30pm. Still, 3 out of 4 wins, a minimum of 3 goals scored in each game, we are enjoying it whilst it lasts.
TheolderIgetthebetterIwas
The forward line looked half decent when I saw them play, two decent crossers of the ball with a few trying to get on the end of it. Bottom half finish I would have thought, not relegation looking, maybe creeping into the top half.
