Ian Pethick
Parkway 4 Ilfracome 1 ( ht -3-0) ( Parkway scorers - Richards ,L.Landricombe (2),Lewis ) Straightforward win in the sun for Parkway as the game looked won by half time with goals from Ryan Richards and a brace by Levi Landricombe . Understandably enough , given the hot sunshine and the scoreline , Parkway didn't play with the same tempo in the second half , but still had chances to extend the lead . Ilfracombe scored through their most likely route when they nodded in a corner late in the second half , but Parkway restored the three goal finish when Danny Lewis wrong footed the keeper from close range after a being played in by a cheeky back heel from the outstanding Dan Hart . Clevedon Town away is the next stop in the FA Cup .
RobinVanParkway
I don't often comment on individual games, but well done to to Wayne, Lee, Darren and the lads on a good win, Dan Hart and Danny Lewis were awesome in the middle backed up by the impressive Steve Colwell. After an impressive first half which sore Parkway take a three goal lead,Parkway always looked as though they had another gear to shift in to. In the second half they took their foot off the gas a little but still looked dangerous going forward. After Ilfracombe scored their consolation this became even more prevalent when Dan Hart and Danny Lewis combined for Parkways fourth with some fantastic one touch football. Ryan Richards and Levi Landricombe HAVE clicked and looked dangerous throughout the game. The back three looked comfortable and dealt with everything Ilfracombe threw at them, although they will be disappointed to have conceded from a set piece. Overall a good team performance.... with the same togetherness and attitude Parkway will do well !
