Elburton v Newquay

Recommended Posts

Just wondering what happened to the lad that was injured from Newquay last night? Seen he was given gas and air by the ambulance, hope nothing serious was sustained.

The game was a decent watch despite the injury. ELburton fully deserved their 2-0 win, with all 11 players non stop running and harassing the peppermints, with some good chances on goal.

Newquay, to their credit, played some nice football at times. They looked good on the ball but had no bite up front.

It was originally thought that Jack Bray-Evans had suffered a broken leg, thankfully (if that is the right word) there is just some compression to the area around the bone and some horrific bruising to the muscle, but the leg is still in one piece. Jack will be out for quite a few weeks, we all wish him a speedy recovery and thank those at Villa who showed concern.
