Bude 0-4 St Dennis

Goals - Scott hill 2

Lee ricks

Martin Sleeman

Great game with bude probably edging the 1st half, but no real threat up top, St Dennis went in 1-0 ht and then came out and dominated the 2nd half.

A sending off for bude, harsh or no, it was what the ref saw.

We only had 12 today went away with 2 2nd teamers 1 that started and they did very well so no complaints, just happy with 3 points.

A decent set up at bude, hope they stay in the league and progress for the future.

Good luck lads see u next week in senior cup

bude 0 st Dennis 4. agree with lricks on the game we felt we were the better side first half or until u scored at least. u had the better of the second half. 4 nil i thought was a bit flattering but you took your chances and we Cant. we were missing a couple regular players as well although not making excuses fair play to st Dennis. see you next week

Pretty much the story of our season, no strikers! Lost both of last seasons strikers to Camelford. However you boys seemed to have picked right up now and a great win against Sticker.

On a sour note, heard a St.Dennis supporter came over the railings and grabbed our manager by the throat who then continued to threaten him after being sent off. If this is true then that is utterly disgraceful behavior which has no place at a football match.

Isn't it better not to post such a comment unless you actually saw it first hand? :ninja:

You're right DD - caution before such comments is best. If true, of course this sort of behaviour cannot be tolerated, but, it's always best to confirm such stories.

See post #17................ it happened, so what is St Dennis football club going to do about it?

On the incident guys, I didn't no what had instigated it, on the pitch you could clearly hear between the bude manager and our supporter some disagreements, and a lot of bad language going to and throw from both parties.

The St Dennis supporter is very passionate about the club and something must have been said to him for him to have reacted in such a manner, he's not a violent character at all if you new him, but saying that, what he did was unexceptable, and as a club we no it's not tollirated in the game.

The club has a meeting tomorrow night and we will make sure the incident is bought up and hopefully the club can deal with the problem.

Sorry to all the bude parties on this, we don't want what happened to effect people's thoughts on St Dennis AFC and what is a good club, but it will be dealt with tomorrow evening.

Spot on with the response, it's happened and it looks like it will be discussed to prevent it happening again. To be honest, most of what I heard from the game was positive towards St.Dennis. I suppose the action of one supporter, who was sent out of the ground, naturally tends to over shadow anything else. Moving on already and I'm sure Saturdays Senior Cup match will be played in good spirit as always
