Parkway will win it launceston 2nd

Played 4 games more than the teams in 3 & 4 places and onlly have 2 pts more than them..... Can't see them finishing in 2nd place. But, good luck to them for the rest of the season

I agree with you Mr Villain ,cannot see a top two finish for Launceston ,the last couple of seasons they have faded away at the end . One thing in their favour though is that they have the points on the board , the potential fixture pile up could be a problem for Parkway and others in the second half of the season . Assuming we play on Monday evening ( which isn't a given due to the forecast for yet more heavy rain in the next few days ) , we will be looking at 24 league matches and at least 2 cup matches to play in 20 weeks . We have yet to get to January and February as well , which are usually the worst months for weather .

Went to watch Bodmin Camelford. Well done to Camelford, wasn't expecting this result. But to be fair Camelford deserved it. Their keeper had to make a couple of good saves in the first half but apart from that had a fairly quiet 2nd half. Camelford took the game to bodmin in the second half and created several good chances before they eventually got one past Miller. Bodmin huffed and puffed but were very flat and predictable at the other end. Don't know if they had players out but didn't look like a team that are in the top 4 of the premier division.

Gilberts best mate Kevin Marriott of The Cornish Guardian wrote last week that Bodmin had a full squad to choose from so presumably they were at full strength, Camels on the other hand had influential mid fielder Dan Balsdon out and could afford the luxury of bringing on two really good 16 year olds in Kyle Flew and Danny Frohlick, Kyle left the full back in his wake and crossed the ball for Gussy to score. Camels were as good as what Bodmin were bad and at this level when that happens you get results such as this.
